Heard strong rumours that Crystal palace are to come in with a bid for Morelos believed to be around £13m. The club value Morelos much more than this and it will be rejected.

I think a bid of 13 million and alfs off. The boy Roofe from Leeds would be a great signing. In SG we trust. 55 on the way.

Don't want to sound negative at all here and put a spanner in the works regarding this speculation of leeds utd forward, kemar roofe. Just can't see for the life of me, us signing roofe, especially for as little as £5million, which has been said,
whether he's in the final year of his contract, or not. Firstly i'd doubt very much that roofe would come to the scottish premiership and secondly i doubt we could afford him, as his fee if he does leave leeds, will be a lot more than £5million. There will also be numerous clubs interested in signing roofe, who could afford him. Hope i'm totally wrong, as i really think he'd be a tremendous signing for us!

Another spanner in the works is I've been told morelos, would not qualify for a work permit in the EPL. Anyone know the rules.

Well yeah if he is going into last year of his contract then 5 million probably be about right.

I believe the rules for work permits are based on the home office rules rather than EPL, therefore he wouldn’t need to apply for another work permit (if he’s going there) .

There is every chance Morelos would get a permit. The current FA rules make it almost impossible to not get one, particularly when there is a the possibility of young applicants with big promise.

have to be honest dunfermline i think the lad is a superb player but at 13m throw in add ons / a sell on clause i'd sell

he has ability to play at a higher level but his temperament is still a question - SPL cloggers will target him even more now and as good as he is he’s no use to us in the stand with us down to 10

if he has a much better disciplinary record this yr ill be delighted to be proven wrong. but cannot see it lads

i had a debate with mols on here start last season about morelos merits and despite all his goals we drew/ lost big games we cld easily have won because he walked early.

He would likely get a work permit as it’s the same British home office that we use in Scotland.
He was awarded 1 for us BEFORE he was capped at senior level due to his involvement with Colombia throughout the age groups so now he’s actually capped it would be highly likely he would be successful in his work permit application if it’s even required.
