Rangers scouts were in attendance for the Croatian cup final between Dinamo Zagreb and Rijeka. Wonder who they were watching?

Nobody. It was a big match in that area and, like all big clubs, we had a scouting presence.

Moonlighted what a lot of guff. There are “big matches” in every league, every week, all over the world. We have a presence at them all do we? So when the Bruno’s Aires derby, the Istanbul derby, Malmo v AIK, Brondby v Copenhagen, the Milan derby, Porto v Benfica and Anderlecht v Bruges are all the same weekend we have scouts at them all do we? Like all big clubs? A - every team would need literally hundreds of scouts and B - there would be no room in some of these grounds for fans if all the big clubs sent scouts.

They were just there to take in game according to media.

So wtf is thd point in as u say having a scouting presence at the game if we weren't watching or looking at players? U totally contradicted yourself in that statement 😂😂😂.

Yeah I’d imagine we have scouts at big matches involving players from areas of Europe where we can potentially afford any targets we might see.
We dipped into Croatian market for Katic who was a great signing, Barisic who is a decent signing and Grezda who was a poor signing.
All were relatively cheap and we would make a profit on 2/3 if we were to sell in this window.

I’d imagine big games involving Scandinavian clubs would also have scouts attend as they do well in our league and again are affordable.
Of course we might have a specific target from that game but you need to do the groundwork I. Certain games to see if anyone catches your eye.
