If he wants to go I suppose then it’ll likely happen as no point keeping an unhappy player - think he wanted to go last year so this year may be risky making him stay so best to get the funds in - definitely IMO need a replacement though as current players in his position not good enough and as we have seen when morelos is not playing we are missing something up top - will be a hard man to replace.

it is ridiculous, poor guy been hammered by some since he got here but be assured we wouldn't have got to where we are without him. i think it would be folly to let him go as replacing like for like is going to be more expensive likely than what we could sell him for so what's the point. potentially alf is going to be worth 60M over then next year to us with a bit of luck, ie get into the CL group and winning the league guaranteeing CL next year.

Clearly his head has been turned, has he handed in a transfer request? Has he said to anyone a quote that he wants out? Has Gerrard or Any staff said he wants out? Or are we making assumptions based on what the media are saying? Who are only interested in selling papers and churning stories out! If he wants to leave we’ll be told and he’ll be away 👌🏻! If he does go he’s our main man and will be difficult to replace and if we get the same cash as Ajer who’s an Average CB in the last year of his contract I’ll be horrified!
