Reading online there that we’ve been scouting a Honduran boy in Greece, 10 goals n 6 assists in 30 games. Certainly better return than Kent gives us…. €4.5m the team are after. 6 in Greek league. He has 6 caps and was part of last World Cup squad. Decent age can’t remember what it was but mid 20s.

Can’t see us spending 5m on Tillman plus 4.5m on a winger when we have to potentially replace Morelos and maybe McGregor. Hope I’m wrong but I sense a frustrating summer on the horizon.

It is going to come down to signing the right quality of Bosmans and there are plenty of good quality players available come July if our DoF and our Board are capable of securing those players.
In recent seasons we have failed to bring in players that could hit the ground running, a mixture of injured players and players that on current showing are no where near the quality needed.
Let's see what happens in the summer, we will be getting rid of a number of players on high salaries, we are told that there will be a significant budget available. Raskin and Cantwell look like good quality and for me that should be the minimum standard that we sign. We need a minimum of five new players, lose Morelos and we need to sign two class strikers otherwise we need to sign one.

Tilman isn't a right winger, if that is where we are planning to play him we will probably have wasted £5m
We need to bring in at least one new keeper, possibly two, we need at least one new centre back, we need two quality wingers, a quality midfield player and a top quality striker.
I'd happily see us sell Yilmaz, Lundstrum, Sakala and Kamara if the money was right, none of the four are going to be match winners against the top sides.

Maybe Ryan Fraser would be a decent shout for a loan if we are in the market for a winger and Kent leaves. His time is up in Newcastle and still has a couple years left to run.

We have played the same formation as before why does Beale waste time playing colak and sakala as his front two then revert back to Morelos as a lone forward and lose same way every time.

He needs to show more bottle and a consistent way of approaching games.

This is true mate, he is a good player though that there is no doubt. Few year ago at Bournemouth he was in top 2/ 3 stats for goal contribution in the league at one point check that out it sound ms silly but he was .

Sweep, there are some exceedingly good players available on Bosmans, we just haven't been signing quality, we have been picking up second rate players that no one other than Wilson has heard of! Guys like Sakala will not win us the league.
Signing Bosmans is ideal for us so long as they are top drawer, not also rans.

Ryan Fraser is an absolute joke of a player, Just a couple of seasons ago he refused to play in a relegation battle in case of injury. That is not the mentality needed at Gers. He'd just be another overpaid mercenary.

Well if it end up we can't afford Tillman or Bayern decide they want him back end of season, it's hardly a major issue as we have three first team players perfectly capable of playing the CAM posistion
Hagi, Lawrence or Cantwell.
we already have 2 capable RW's in Sakala and if the lad ever gets a decent run in the team Matondo, Both natural RW.
Goldson and Souter should be first choice CB's for next season.
Davies is too small for a CB and makes too many mistakes more dead money wasted on a dud.
Mcrorie for 1st choice goalie next season (pretty much since his clean sheet against Celtic and of course his injury) the lads barely had a chance, why keep him all these years to waste away in the reserves, He played far better than any goalie we currently have against celtic.
the midfield needs the most work, time for the oldies to move on or retire.
Sell/ Release or Retire the following players.
Mcgregor, McLaughlin, Davies, Helander, Lundstram, Arfield, Davis, Wright, Colak and Roofe.

Keep/ Re-Sign the following players.
McCrorie, Ridvan, Barisic, Goldson, Souttar, King, Tavernier, Devine, Raskin, Kamara, Cantwell, Jack, Hagi, Lawrence, Lowry, Kent, Matondo, Sakala, and Morelos.

Buy or promote a young / Talented GK, CB, and buy Gilmour and Olaru, Bet we could find a solid young keeper and centre back in the Romainian league (often overlooked but has produced many supreb players.

I wouldn't sign Fraser, too much of a risk, injury prone, bad attitude, struggling to get games at Newcastle, the analogy with Lundsrum might be a good one but unfortunately he is another poor signing who has played one good year since signed.
We need to up the quality of player signed and we need to widen the scope of the leagues that we scout in. Problem is, we need to sign almost a new team this close season and I really fear that yet again we will bring in the wrong players.
For me there is an argument of keeping a nucleus of Tavernier, Barasic, Cantwell and Raskin, then every other player can go, either on free transfers or sold on to bring in funds to rebuild because few of them are good enough. Till man would be a good signing with quality around him, at the moment he has a disinterested Kent, a headless chicken in Sakala, and Alfie isn't interested. Hagi when fit might do a job, Ryan Jack and Arfield sadly are well past their best as is Davis, and all three in their prime are exactly what we need. Our two centre backs when Goldson is out don't give you any confidence and sadly McGregor is well past his best and we have nothing in reserve.
As I say, this summer will be interesting, either we fundamentally improve the quality of player signed or we resign ourself to Celtic dominating the league for the next few seasons.

Tilman has been good this season although every now and then can slip back into pre Beale performances usually only in short spells in the game think he's a guy you have to sign though people are forgetting to his boys age what he's done already and the potential. He will be a full international within the year I think the. Who knows.
