I'm glad arfield wants to play on with many changes this summer he'll be needed also his contribution off the bench merits a 1 year extension imo. As for B team we should look at guys with a record of improving young players why not McCall unless he's other offers.

I’d have been surprised if arfield retired from playing right now, seems to me if that job was available to him at rangers b then maybe a new player contract is not available to him ?
Regarding Kevin Thompson I heard he was knocked back for the darvel job. Maybe he should concentrate on punditry as something is clearly putting teams off hiring him.

ive heard from a good source that arfield will go to falkirk in a player coach role. Also heard that jack has signed a contract a few thursdays ago and got injured on the friday morning after. MB insists that nothing has beeen signed yet so its a confusing 1. i would like scotty to stay another season.

If we get Cifuentes and Davies in then I’d expect Arfield to go and question the re-signing of jack. Lunny will provide the competition in that area. I expect him to sign a new deal.
