Sorry wasn’t clear, fee for wright from killie. He’s under contract with us until 2025 so if killie want him would need a fee or a player plus fee.

Can't afford to lose Wright until the summer and the boy Armstrong at Kilmarnock is never the standard we need. Wright is one of very few who can offer us something different from the bench yes he's limited in his ability but his work rate and attitude are top drawer and at present were far too light in attacking options.

I'm no expert but is our Europa squad not smaller than the usual due to a lack of homegrown players?
I know we can only add 3 but say we added 3 homegrown would that allow us to add more or is it kind of a too late now type thing?
Apologies if this is a stupid question. Just wondering when we are linked to McKenna if he'd count as one of the 3 changes as he's homegrown.

J-zer, curious as to what Wright offers. His numbers are terrible. Granted he has scored 2 goals at Hampden. Can’t take that away from the lad but he is nowhere near the standard we need to progress.
He will only be kept due to the Europa squad. However if any offer comes in then he will be off in my opinion.

Cheers John, makes sense as both of their players stock is high with recent performances. I just checked - Armstrong under contract until may 25 so similar to the Shankland situation Killie will be demanding a premium with 18 months left, valuation will drop significantly come the off season.

Mark 44 with our current injury list and fact his deal doesn’t run out to 2025 and we probably couldn’t register kilmarnock boys over silva, yilmaz, balogun then yes he’s more important to keep till end of season.

Onewalter very interesting. I don’t see armstrong as a starter for us but I think he would be an upgrade on wright as a very solid squad player.
I wonder what the true offer from Saudi was for wright in the summer.
I believe Danny Armstrong is from Prestwick and a rangers fan (from what pals have said could be wrong) so if that’s the case and Killie want wright it wouldn’t take much to get Armstrong to push for a move from his side….
