I seen a post from a Dutch journalist on X earlier, saying that Vitesse want €3m for Manhoef this window.

Now seeing reports saying Mainz may possibly want Matondo on loan for the rest of the season.

Both just rumours, but maybe this could work. Matondo is on a good wage and let's be honest, he's never taken his chance. We clearly have interest in Manhoef, so could both deals happen? Manhoef on one wing and Cortes on the other. New striker through the middle (ON PAPER, would be delighted) .

I would happily see Matondo go out on loan but first we need to secure a replacement we are nowhere near strong enough on the wings without loosing another option.

Storm, I’m fully aware that Manhoef probably won’t be signed. Was just meaning in an ideal world. Cortes seems to score more on the left. The stats say he’s more direct in terms of going into the box from the left. Could quite easily play there and Manhoef on the left. I do doubt it would happen, but it’s maybe an option for the summer IF everything falls into place.

For 4 weeks under Beale this season Rabbi looked like our answer to CR7. Then Beale played him injured and kept him on through injury and he’s been awful again since he came back.

Yeah I’d let Matondo go for million- if that was ever a possibility! I don’t think he’ll be here this window. But I’d take him- my eyes are only on the striker if assuming Cortes and Jefte are in the bag- were are they? I was expecting something by now clock is ticking. I’m getting worried that one of these deals will fall through. Get them signed and focus on a striker, probably not as simple as I’m suggesting tho.

Honestly I’ve watched last couple of games and not been impressed with him at all

His team playing poor at moment though and he certainly looked good before this poor run from his team.

Really wanted this one but seems to gone cold for us. They need to sell and think it's a good deal for us too. Silva and Sima are only loans so will need to replace in summer anyway.

Storm, Manhoef can play left, Cortes is predominantly right sided so it’s more than possible if Matondo leaves.
