We do score less than those across the city, but is that not because their players ( midfielders as well) are prepared to gamble and shoot from anywhere around the box, whereas we seem to want to score the perfect tap-ins all the time? Surely we practice shooting in training?

They don’t score lots of goals from outside the box. What they do though is commit more players into goal scoring positions. PC is addressing that and I expect our goal return to increase and be spread.

Celtic are faster at moving the ball and creating space whereas we are slow and are faced with 10 defenders to shoot through.

Scotty good point mate, can't remember where I seen it but that mob have more shots on goal than us by over 100 I'm sure it was, that needs to change.

We had goal scoring midfielders in Arfield, Tillman and maybe even Aribo which haven’t been replaced.

Would be surprised if any of our Mids get double figures this year. Which leaves the goals to come from our RB and ST. And we all know how great Dessers is in front of goal….

Why is everyone obsessed with goals scored here’s one for you

Last season we scored more goals than season we won league

Problem was we conceeded 3x as many goals good defenders win leagues just as much as attackers do.

I agree with shoot on site policy though with strikers being ready to follow in for any spills by keeper.
