Great result last night, I thought our game management was spot on, cracking subs and the right time and the right balance between pressing and passing.

One thing I’m struggling with though is some of the comments towards Mcausland, he didn’t have as bad a night that some people are making out.

He works his socks off all night, never stops and provides great balance / cover for Tav. He’s grown in confidence each week and while I accept his not a world beater he’s offers more than Wright or Roofe.

I thought his final ball was a bit off but definitely grew into the game thought he was really good last 35 mins, tracking back and always looking for the ball and making runs.

He's a young lad mate but he was very poor last night. Gave the ball away too much.

PC didn't agree obviously, he stayed on the pitch. He will improve, yes, he's young, but he's adapted well in his step up to the first team. Great result and put us in a position we could only have dreamt of when Beale was sacked. Well done to the whole squad.

MacAusland worked his socks off and was kept on because he offers better cover and also can take the ball and build play well when we have lots of possession, granted he lost it a few times but he went straight after it to try and win it back. Thought it was quite a clever sub taking off matondo instead as the game was becoming more tight the deeper Aberdeen got, which meant our play had to be patient and we passed through them rather than a more direct attack which suits matondo. Matondos pace was a threat early on but as he tired and Aberdeen got so deep 2nd half he had no space to work into.

McCausland was good, dunno what everyone else saw, got to sat Devlin for them put a shift in, few great blocks and marking matondo must be a nightmare.
