Agree with all the good comments around PC - but didn't understand our shape yesterday. They were obviously going to have 5 across the penalty box, so we played with 2 wide men (wright was obviously gash) makes sense. . but so many times we only had Fabio in the box. With all respect to the opposition, we should surely have had Fabio and dessers on - Old skool 442?

And imagine if Cortez (who looks like the doggies danglers) had a big hit man to aim at in the middle - a buffalo, shank, frankly anyone who is actually a #9. I Like Fabio, but he's not a CF in the Scottish game.

It's probably more to do with only having dessers and silva available as our striking options, no point playing both and risking both to an injury at the same time. Well that's my take on it.

On that I can’t disagree, we could play another striker against championship clubs or lower SPL, this is just a blind guess but maybe it’s to protect at least one striker if he plays them both and if one or both get injured or even just a slight niggle it could leave us with nobody to play upfront. Just a guess tho.

On Cortes I’m reasonably confident about this guy, I love that style of just running out wide or straight to goal and getting a shot of. I was reading that the recruitment guy Nils has been aware of him for sometime, and something big Phil said about him got me interested, when he said that he could see from the first time he trained that this was a player that could really help the team. He’s come in and he’s been getting a decent amount of minutes when u consider he’s just in the door and wasn’t playing at Lens. I don’t think anyone would be surprised to see a few more South Americans come to this club now. I’d be playing Cortes against Ross County. But Matondo not Wright anymore!

Raskins form has been poor of late, people might say he’s just back from injury- but I’d still expect more than he is offering. He’s always loosing posession by playing passes that are not on. He at this point is not in my starting 11. A lot to prove tbh. But I hope he shuts me up, because whenever I moan about any Rangers player and they start doing well- it always makes me happy.

Mr rangers I think the passes are on for Nico but he very often delays it a split second it's like he sees it to late but still trys it anyway hopefully that will get better with match sharpness but do feel he was doing it when he was match sharp tbh.

Whats the difference between playing both strikers at the same time and one or both getting injured or playing one striker and he gets injured then you sub on the second striker and he then gets injured.

Like are the odds/ chances of both players playing at the same time and both getting injured that high.

I hate this narrative that playing 2 strikers automatically means we’d score more goals. It doesn’t work like that. He’s played a system that’s totally nullified the opponent and allowed us to dominate the game and win comfortably. Why change that?

We won easily to get to the next round, we rested players and gave others minutes before the important league game on Wednesday . Couldn`t care less what team or system he picked, they got the job done comfortably .

Never got the hype around nico in the first place tbh. He offers zero and don't see that changing. Cortes man. He's gawny be a big dawg for us.
