ally has got dunfermline game cancelled because he has 3 players on international duty

1.) 03 Oct 2013
That can't be serious? If that is the case then shows preferred treatment and shows that ally is no manager if he thinks he needs 3 players to play a game. Fans need to wake up!

2.) 03 Oct 2013
So what that's in the rules ac milan had to play celtic with 9 players out {The Ed039's Note - Were they out on international duty?)

3.) 03 Oct 2013
What the hell are you on about that is our right to have the game cancelled if we have player on international duty for god sake get a grip call yourselves Rangers fans it more like Rangers moaners

4.) 03 Oct 2013
@1

Why is it preferred treatment? It is in the rule book, nothing to do with paranoia. Whether it was required is another matter.

5.) 03 Oct 2013
The rules allow teams to apply for cancellation if a number of players are away on international duty.

Rangers will be missing Wallace, Peralta and MacLeod and Andy Little & Dean Shiels are on standby.

Don't try and make it something it isn't.

Jesus ed we are playing against joke teams are you for real or are you also sticking your head in the sand? wouldn't blame you though rtid {The Ed039's Note - And what would happen if Rangers lost? Do you not think there would be a blame game?? I am not saying the game SHOULD be called off, all I am saying is that the reasoning is there and should be respected)

8.) 03 Oct 2013
I am pretty p122ed of abot this, I live in Muir of ord paid for ticket £19, train £60 and hotel £40 all I will get back is my £19 for match ticket, I know it's in the rules but that's £100 down the drain!

9.) 03 Oct 2013
I don't see the point in explaining that teams with players on international duty have the right to have a match postponed as they have players away, too many of the people won't understand despite it being a simple logic, similar to all div1-3 teams were able to play trialists but we had preferential treatment apparently.

Gaz.

10.) 03 Oct 2013
Anyone with a brain will realise this game has been cancelled to stop the protests expected at the game which is at ibrox live on tv.

11.) 03 Oct 2013
OP, are you really sure ally got it postponed? I am not so sure as I think the current board would have heavily influenced the decision to cancel game because there was going to be more demonstrations at the game and the last thing they wanted was to have that at the last home game before the AGM also think some of the terminology used in the statement tonight towards malcolm murray is an absolute disgrace. I have been a supporter for 40 odd years and I despair at how low our represenntatives are stooping to preserve their jobs. Very sad. BT

12.) 03 Oct 2013
@10 what a load of rubbish. Why look for a conspiracy theory when one isn't there? If u had bothered to go on the clubs website a week or so ago u would have seen that when the club announced the sale of tickets they did state that the game may be called off due to the internationals. This was before the accounts came out and before the game at the weekend.
The manager has exercised his right to have the game cancelled as there are 3 players missing. The ED is right. If we had played the game and lost Ally would have got in the neck for not calling the game off. So it's a no win situation.

13.) 03 Oct 2013
@10 & 11 steady up, you are getting a bit carried away with those statements

JG

14.) 03 Oct 2013
What are we gonny do about that?

15.) 03 Oct 2013
@11 exactly which one of these is demeaning Murray

These are the facts:
Mr Murray was appointed by Charles Green on June 14 2012 to Sevco Scotland (now Rangers Football Club Ltd). There were no institutions in the Club then. The Club IPO was on December 19 2012 so it is grossly inaccurate to say Mr Murray was put there by said institutions to oversee corporate governance.
Mr Murray proposed Craig Mather to the board.
Mr Murray agreed Brian Stockbridge’s salary and bonus.
Mr Murray agreed Mr Green’s salary and bonus.
Mr Murray negotiated Mr Green’s compromise agreement and signed it off.
Mr Murray was removed from the Pinsent Masons investigation by the board after leaking information to a third party.

16.) 03 Oct 2013
@12 dear dear people like you will never learn, are you still believing everything the board and club website say after the last 2 year's?

17.) 04 Oct 2013
So Ally does not apply for a cancellation and whoops. 3 points are lost. One lot will be slagging him for not being able to beat a load of part timers and the other lot will be saying he should have caancelled the game because some of his first choice players were on international duty. Can't win either way. Do I think he is the right man for the job, NO. Has he done the right thing, YES.

18.) 04 Oct 2013
@16 no I don't believe the board and I want to see them all removed I just don't buy the conspiracy theory about the Dunfermline game. The QOS game was cancelled weeks earlier due to the international call ups and no one complained then or weren't you aware of that?

19.) 04 Oct 2013
Take a look back the qos game was cancelled so bbc alba could show it.

20.) 04 Oct 2013
@19 no it wasn't it was postponed due to international call ups. Ally has already confirmed that this week when asked about the Dunfermline game. He is on record as stating he wanted the game cancelled as there could be as many as 12 players missing through international commitments. Don't know why people need to come on here and just make things up
