According to 'Winner' website yesterday, Mike Ashley is contemplating selling Newcastle United and buying Rangers. Apparently he sees no way that Newcastle can compete with the top EPL clubs like Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs for a CL place. With Rangers certain to be back in the SPL in a couple of years, Ashley sees a Champions League spot is achievable with only Celtic as opposition.

Doiger this rumour has been doing the rounds for ages. I would be shocked and utterly surprised if he did. can't see it mate.
