with another 1.2 million shares changing hands today before 10. 00 am I was wondering who do you think is Selling/Buying?
and also as it is always being mentioned on here that the fans bought 12% of the shares
Q. how much of that 12% is still in Fans hands
( and please don't say fans would not sell their shares) everybody cuts their losses at sometime when times are hard and with the investment now only worth 30% of their buy value only those fans who can really afford such a loss and true die hards will keep them. so again how much of the 12% do you believe is still in ordinary fan hands. ?

Again very interesting today that Dave King is saying a new share issue is needed and shares are then offloaded by bucketfull and price forced down. Well Done Dave King - obviously DK has his own agenda to get the shares or any new shares as cheap as possible. another spiv is coming - remember a guy who could have invested before and didnt

{Ed039's Note - He couldnt invest in the originl IPO due to his issues with SARS. He is the one waiting for administration, I have said it all along)

JohnnyG - we will find out early next week when the holdings announcement is made to LSE,

the last big buy after hughes sold, was by Damille Investments II Limited who bought 2m on 14th January

before that it was CREDIT SUISSE CLIENT NOMINEES UK LTD who bought 714,000 (which I think was the last of greens shares) on 20th December

The thing with the fans shares though is that you only loss, or make money on shares the day you sell them (apart from any dividends),
if you hold your shares, their paper value may go up or down but any loss is only on paper

I believe that a large % of fans did not buy shares principally to make money from them, if they did they would have sold at 90p, so I think that most would still be holding those shares

Agree with ed. Mr King has always wanted to go the admin route, as lest costly and any money he is wishing to invest in the club would all go to Rangers and not to share owners or spivs etc.
Admin although not a nice thing to happen is the best of a bad bunch of alternatives, ie the same lot staying taking taking taking and never investing. we the fans have a lot of major issues to think over and a number of difficult hard taks to to instigate to get the club back where it belongs.

I have it on sound sources that Dave King purchased the shares today but is using financial houses to make the acquisition as their is reluctance from some investors to sell to King and that he does not wish to show his full hand just yet.

Op ide imagine it was stockbridge that sold his shares and n5 I hope your right on your theory

King does not have to wait till admin to get rangers for cheaper. Like nothing butthestruth said he can buy up shares through third party until he has enough shares to show his hand. Then he can go for control with the fans behind him. Once these spins realise the game is up they will take what ever king offers them and leave. I can't believe that some fans don't realise that there has been a game played out for control of rangers ever since whyte came in. This game is about to come to a end one way or another.
