Ally McCoist is quoted today as 'giving full backing to Dave King investment in Rangers'. There's a surprise. He's backed every name that's been linked to investment in Rangers over the last three years! Maybe he'll change his mind when he's sacked! lol

DOIGER I thought he was finally starting to learn last month when he said he only wanted to talk football when questioned over an off - field matter. It would appear I was wrong, the man just does not think before opening his mouth.Just a total joke.

Hilliarious mate. I really don't understand how people can make jokes like that at this time. This could make our break our club mate

I think ally hopes everytime there's a new investor it means spend big. spend out of trouble. but this time feels diffrent, strongest indecation king an co put bucks on table. my concern is the easdales.

Op, if you want to quote the man then use his whole quote he actually says he would welcome investment from anyone and many of them if it was the wishes of the shareholders

5.) 17 Oct 2014
DOIGER, Ally would back anybody that will secure his payoff, at the moment it's potentially Mr King (I can't bring myself to believe that anyone from Castlmilk would allow himself to be called "Dave"!!! Davy, Davie-boy, Div etc yes, but Dave! naw!!). Once again we have the unbelievable situation where the manager approves the board/potential investors not the other way around. If it's going to be you Mr King or Mr Ashley please find the money to get rid of McCoist!! it will be money well spent

Well said BT61 to many people willing to have a go without reading or listening to the full interview, what manager/fan wouldn't welcome investment into his club & without stating the obvious especially ours as we desperately need it.

LS his name has nothing to do with it,the man's just saying there is no DAVES in Castlemilk.

9.) 17 Oct 2014
To save being mis-quoted, Ally should stick to his original statement. '' I will only speak about footballing matters. ''
Unfortunately he makes comments that leave him wide open to criticism.
Just one aside to poster 5, the only winston I have came across was a collie from Bearsden. Certainly not from Castlemilk, where I know a couple of Daves.

The fact that McCoist has backed these 2 like he has so many before has alarm bells ringing, I do not trust one word out of the charlatans mouth. But I will back absolutely anyone who promises to sack him, if they keep him then it'll be the same old corporate waltz with McCoist between them and us, Rangers cannot move forward with crooks and charlatans in charge. This is my second season not attending games or buying merchandise purely because of McCoist and I will never spend 1p on them while he is there. McCoist epitomises everything I hate about the newco Rangers.
