In 1983 I was fortunate enough to play in a pre match game at ibrox when I was 12.the game was against Ayr Utd boys club.the occasion was Colin jacksons testimonial.to be part of his day will live with me forever.i met him in 2001 and told him I played in his testimonial.the look on his face was slightly confused until I explained.a true gentleman and not to big to say I shed a tear when I learned of his death.the certainly don't make them like him anymore.my heart felt condolences to his family.x
