Just because Stubbs came out and said Allan is not for sale does NOT mean that he won't be sold. Managers/directors say their players aren't for sale all the time, to drive the price of the player up. With 1 year left on his deal, he'll be available.

I heard that rangers were told they need money up front which is proving to be a stumbling block.

Would imagine that's true rabmac, I didn't think we would pay any transfer fees tbh, the club has no money and we will be living off king and park for awhile I guess.
