It's not something to get depressed about mate, I was just wondering what people thought. I reckon PLG would have do a lot for us had he been given more time. I also think W&W will need some time to get things going they way they want aswell, I just hope we give them the time they need.

macoist by a country mile le guen was a gentleman he walked away and did not take the money due to him it was unfortunate he never got a chance with his ideas thanks to big headed players who did not want to move out of their comfort zone and adapt to new methods and ideas player power pushed him out the door

Alex McDonald mentions PLG in recent articles commenting he was not mentally prepared for managing Rangers.player power had him removed as we all know but W & W are a different breed altogether.the honeymoon could be brief but for the first time in many years we have optimism about the club moving in the right direction. it will not be easy, we will have our set backs but with Ceptic rapidly turning into Dundee Utd the difference between the two clubs is not insurmountable in the coming years

TrueBlueDrew

I just heard a rumour that Celtic have put in bids for Dundee United mascot Terry the Terror and Lorraine Kelly.

As for PLG or Ally.

Well, after managing Rangers, one left not even demanding a payout and went on to manage PSG and two national squads.

The other became a gardener and insists on receiving every last penny due to him.

Let's just hope W&W get the time Ally got as opposed to the time PLG got. I'm excited about the furure under the new management team but I'm also prepared for some hard times, if the players hit the ground tunning then great but I just hope we don't call for heads if things don't work out right away.

PLG was really ill prepared and has admitted himself he didn't do his homework regarding Rangers. I also think it's unfair to blame Ferguson for his exit too. Got the feeling he was quite happy to walk and had already had PSG lined up. Ally was by far a worse manager than him and the only reason why he isn't the worst manager ever at the club is only because McDowall took over

Let's just hope Warburton is not stupid enough to ban monster munch or there could be another revolt.

PLG totally underestimated Scottish football and made some poor signings. Karl Svensson, a centre half who couldn't header a ball being one. However, he should have been given a lot more time than he was given. Player power won in the end, and look where that got us! McCoist on the other hand went the other way, signed old SPL players who he wouldn't need to coach, ignored the youth and paid the consequences.
