Ok now I get that it is a bit premature but I'm relatively confident we are going up so.

Judging by Warburtons sporadic use of Clark suggesting he is not MW's answer and the aging of Miller (also his contract running low)no doubt making him of use more sparingly at most.

Once we step up to the premier league we are going to need a new striker. Keeping our suggestions reasonable and let's not have any ex-players eh? Who would you go for?

p.s How long will we be in the top league before Strachan is searching to see if Tavernier has a Scottish granny?

What fan would have guessed we would have signed Tavernier, Keirnan, Foderingham, Zelalem, Oduwa, Holt, or even Halliday or Waghorn.

Think it's great to speculate but we have faith in Warburton to go out and find the gems that each one of these players we have brought in have been recently.

Young Armstrong who I believe is on loan at Coventry from Newcastle(?) been banging them in for fun this season

Like most people I'm loving how this season is going so far but I think it's going to be tough to win every game. We might go unbeaten but there might be the odd draw along the way. We're still a work in progress and there's bound to be a wee blip at some point.
Also I'd support anybody wearing the Scotland Jersey regardless of their club team.
Ps. Oduwa, Miller and Clark probably won't be coming up to the premiership with us so Strikers must be on the managements radar. I hope he works his magic.

Couldn't agree more Thorn76. As you so though it is fun to speculate and I have been enjoying mulling over it. Just wanted my fellow bears thoughts too.
Better than thinking about work!

What I'm thinking about now Bluegenius is every other Saturday.

Finally looking forward to every weekend either at Ibrox or on travels. This is the way Rangers are supposed to play and we have the players to do it.

They play with a purpose and have an energy and youth that will be difficult for any team to stop this season.

Follow Follow W&W.

Goodwillie will be available on a Free next summer and at 26 is at a good age. Could MW mould him into the player his early potential suggested he would become? Available for free it would be worth a gamble.

Sam Nicholson at Hearts looks decent, only 20 and could also be slotted into the the system.

Jack Harper? Served a hard apprenticeship at Real Madrid currently at Brighton but a move to Rangers may bring out the best in him (heard he is a bluenose).

Santa Cruz: I have always liked Goodwillie and wanted him to sign a few seasons back when there was talk of it.

As one of posters says I trust Warburton to unearth a diamond.

Think Next year we will likely loose Zelalem and Oduwa plus possibly Ball (please Spurs/Arsenal can we keep them one more year to destroy septic :-)

So assuming they return and if they do it will translate the clubs are very pleased with the development under Warburton, we will have the choice of EPL players on the fringe of first team. Actually ironically the sky mega billions deal is going to benefit Rangers big time on loanee front. Due to EPL spending billions on the worlds top players every top EPL team has the cream of English and European talent not getting first team football. This means we can have 3 loanees every season, including I am sure a top class striker to replace Miller/Clark and bang in the countless chances we are creating. On statistics a top striker scoring like Negri did and Larsson for septic 2 out of 3 chances Rangers would be scoring 8/9 goals every game on current form.

Looking forward to the next year reclaiming our place at the top and the 55th title.

A question to us Bears on here and the obsessed from septic. Honestly would any player from the SPFL get into Warburtons first 11 at Rangers? I can only think of Bitton for Holt and Rooney as our sub bench striker.
