The deals with these 2 players is becoming more embarrassing each day it drags out, I understand us not wanting to spend outwith our means but on one hand you have MW saying a deal is looking almost done for a couple of players who you would assume is o'halloren and diagouraga and on the other you have T. Wright saying no other bid has been made and Brentford boss saying we're miles away with valuation! So what exactly is going on here? Show interest and put in pissy small bids we know won't get accepted but it gives the board the chance to say "at least we tried". if they won't meet the valuation move on and stop looking amateurish.

Get real man, it's called negotiating, way of the world n aw that, if none of these deals come off then cest la vie, we have enough to go up I recon. Warbs and the board are now operating at a very high level of business acumen and professionalism, way way beyond previous regimes. Slowly but ever so surely we are coming forth and most on here need to get a reality check, all is good.

Why would getting a player in for the right price be embarrassing? Offering Kevin Kyle, Ian Black and Sandaza 10k a week in the 3rd division was embarrassing. Think some people need to get some perspective.
The transfer window is open for a month, if we have no one in by then we can moan. Until then let's trust the people in charge's judgement, they've called it right up until now. Top of the league, good hungry young team and excellent management. What's not to be happy about.

I'm happy with the team by the way I'm not happy at the heel dragging I also understand the concept of negotiating! The point is we have missed out on a few targets by going in low and fannying about with low offers.

Stu1976, so instead of going low and fannying about we just go pay what the other club want for him even its over the value we have. That sounds like a plan! We should not be making a fool of ourselves and throw the money at them and get the player signed up asap!

Listen guys, re the Scott Allan saga, that was a prime example and no matter what we were prepared to offer it would never have been enough, the manks put in a lower bid and that was that. To be honest I'm glad as I recon he's a bad un, we got holt a far better player . No point in paying over the odds for prima donnas, sandaza being a prime example, total guff.

Ok so we spend most of the transfer window haggling over a few quid not prepared to meet the clubs valuation then we end up with no-one or a hurried buy, and waghorn, holt, Halliday or fullbacks get injured we don't have the quality to replace them, we're not talking millions of pounds here, I'm not saying just fork out what they want but at least make the offer realistic.
