If anyone wants to see just what Cruffy left for Barcelona jump on sky sports news web page, check out the highlights of the u10 cup final against espanyol. The u10 play the game in the Barcelona Mould the mould the Cruffy laid down.

I can see were MW has taken inspiration from in terms of how he wants all our youth teams to play the same tactics and system, right through the club, if it good enough for Barcelona then the mighty bears should be happy that we have a manager in MW that has a vision for our club and that it has been taken right out of Cruffys book!

The future is Bright the future is ORANGE!

Seriously you think warbs will round long enough to implement a youth set up that rivals Barcelona or Ajax.

At what point did I say rivals, all I said was it is good that he is trying to implement a philosophy through the entire club, in a mould such as barca, no one can rival barca,

when we are looking at the shambles that we had before warbs arrive to what we have it is night and day.

It was the Rangers Board that wanted to bring in a manager to change the culture of our club, to focus on the future, the youth, the set up top to bottom in the Academy, even after warbs leaves, this is the template that Rangers will stick to for a long time!

It not just about being a manager for warbs he is trying to leave a structure in place that will stand our club in good stead for many a year!

Comments please New bhoy?

Celtic and Rangers have been trying for years to get their youth policy's in order but it's a result driven business and if the manager doesn't get the success we demand instantly he gets sacked so why take the chance. Do you honestly think either of our clubs could rely on our youth polices, it will take years to kick in and if either of our teams comes second in the league we will sack our manager. If you were the manager and your reputation and job is on the line would you go with an unproven player or someone who has first team experience and shows he can handle pressure. It's great saying you want a great youth policy but you'll need time to bed it in which is something Celtic and rangers boards will not give managers who fail.

Well put M3LVO.
I don't think Rangers could have picked a better manager to get this club organized from top to bottom. I believe his vision is second to none, not only will it benefit Rangers in future years, but Scottish football in general. I really hope he and sir Davie are here for a long time to come.

I can see both sides of the argument but I would have to side with M3VLO. Yes it's a result driven game but he's right in saying the board wanted someone to change the club in to a sustainable one that replaces outgoing players (sold at profit) for youth. Creating a template for future managers. I would bet my house on Davie Weir carrying this on if Warburton left for another club. I can't see the manager being sacked, at the rate we have improved the sky is the limit. Celtic are regressing its there for all to see.
Celtic are also trying to do the same thing. The difference between them is Lawell also likes to buy overpriced turkeys these days and try and turn a profit on them. Not one or two, loads of them. It worked a few times so he tries to replicate it over and over but luck seems to be running dry at the moment.

New Bhoy, I do understand the point you are trying to make, however it appears that as a jungle jim you will not understand the journey that Rangers have went through, the transitional period or club is undertaking and the fact that we are moving in a total different direction to years gone by, which you will witness first hand at hampden.

Rangers fans are now happy for the philosophy to be introduced and we now have a realisation that this is the best practice for us to go with now, taking into account what happened to us and how much damage was done to our club with mismanagement in years gone by.

Our club has a clear vision and clear goal, we are on an upwards trajectory back to the top,

lets face it this is the time if any for us to introduce this to the Scottish game, it is a brand of football that has never been seen in Scotland before and as we showed Dundee on our day, we will destroy teams.

Now I am awaiting your response, its Dundee, your a new club Sevco, your in a lower division, we have international players we are tainted champions of Scotland, but we all know as do you my friend that we are coming for you and we will soon have our rightful place back at top of Scotland, No1 team in the country. It is only a matter of time, we are not standing still we are racing forward, you lot are regressing with a manager that can't keep the same 11 player for 2 games running!

The future is Bright the Future was mapped out by Warbs, and going back to my initial post Warbs took his inspiration from CRUYFF, RIP!

We've got more cushion as our expectancy levels are reaslistic in the sense we know we won't have instant success.

So we can implement and take chances where necessary. Once we're back in the league we belong and challenging then soon we'll be back to wanting instant success.

Both teams have had the ideal opportunity to rebuild and i have to say both haven't done it well. Only this year we've made changes and only time will tell if fans will be as patient when we're in the same league as each other.

In 3yrs or so, we will hopefully have an abundance of talent coming through. I say 3 yrs because we have brought in a few young players at 17 18, then young burt so hopefully in 3 yrs these kids will be fighting for a place in the first team. I also don't think durrant is the man for the youth. I think mcparland is one of the best bits of buisness we have done in years.

We will see what happens when you get into the premiership, my opinion is that if you don't win the league in two years you will be baying for blood and the youth policy will not get a look in. It's a fantastic idea but as super ally has stated the ideal opertunity had passed for both clubs to take a real punt with their youth system. As for hampden that game will look after its self.

M3LVO one thing you do have in abundance is ARROGANCE. I surprised you not predicting a Champions League win over Barcelona in 2018.
Yes you beat Dundee and all this bluster seems to be based on this, but what about St. Johnstone thumping you 3-0 will we just forget that happened, of course that doesn't suit your argument.
The fact is you are a 2nd tier team who happened to be playing good football in the 2nd tier.
It means NOTHING when you come up and will be against stronger teams 38 times a season not just once or twice that's when you will find out if you any good and not before.

Rayman, wait a min just to a wind in my fishing rod, take this dumb as fish off my line, ooohhhhh look its rayman. Think you are mistaking Arrogance with Confidence and self assurance.

Was only a matter of time before we got the comments flying in from the Jungle Jim Trollers.

The fact is this rayman, it will all come out at hampden. Ronny will be picking up his P45 after it. The only argument that you lot have is you are second tier, you are playing against part timers, we are Scotland champions, bla bla bla, am bored listening to you lot.

You understand the reason that you continue to spout your nonsense is fear that you know what is coming, it is so plainly obvious.

Selik and there fans are just raging that their time in the limelight is about to end. you are gutted that we now have a football philosophy that you lot don't have.

If you were no so ignorant to your own self's you would stop trying to discredit rangers, you must surely see exactly what rangers are building?

But its plain to see that it suits you lot to discredit us. Just remember Rayman, we are not Hearts we won't be coming back up fighting for 3rd place mate! We will be coming back up to take what is rightfully ours and always has been, so go and crawl back under your stank! !

Yep M3LVO arrogance lol. Nope you are not Hearts they WON the 2nd tier first time of asking, humping u lot by how many points?
You say "FACT" then just summise and predict lol, I blame the schools you really need to learn what a fact is before you pass off an opinion or prediction as fact .
It really is laffable, if it was any other team winning the 2nd tier and playing decent football (not brilliant football) against lower end Scottish teams you would be saying exact same.
Listen mate you and your pals endlessly tell us we are winning a nothing league easily and there is no challenge for us, but this league is a level ABOVE where u are playing yet you continually slag it off as crap or celtic are crap.
Oh the irony if the best team in the country are crap where does that put you?

Rauman : 2 points, I personally have never felt Celtic are in a non competitive league, of course it is the top league in Scotland, as far as Rangers doing well in the second tier league, well looking at it realisticlally Hearts were in the same boat and look how well they have fared in the top league, I think most people including myself think Rangers can emulate them next season and be in the top 3 or 4 of the league, and hit a kind of snowball effect like Hearts did.

15.) 30 Mar 2016
30 Mar 2016 21:22:06
Scotjo I don't think for a minute you won't be in the top three, with a little investment, next season and that it looks like Warburton is a decent manager, albeit one who gas it all to prove having never managed in a top league anywhere . The guys we come on here to laugh at are the crazy eyed Celtic hater's like m3lvo, who in there anti everything Celtic, can't seem to see how ironic it is that pep Warburton is god and rangers are footballs equivalent to the Harlem globetrotters, yet Ronny is rubbish and Celtic are a terrible team despite both teams having similar league records this term and Ronny is doing it in a harder league against much better teams .

16.) 31 Mar 2016
30 Mar 2016 13:52:36
Rangers don't have a history of sacking manager, Walter, coisty, big Eck, all lost titles, none were sacked.

Precious, that's a fair argument you make re different leagues/ opponents tbh. However, I've a few questions for you, if you don't mind. Is your team performing as well as you expect them to under ronny? Are you happy with your defence? If Griffiths got injured tomorrow and was out for the season, would you still be as confident of winning the semi and retaining the league? I've some close friends and relations who are Celtic season ticket holders (3 of whom were even in the 15k on mothers day) and all of them gave three unequivocal no's as their answers, which is why I'm asking you. They also tell me that without Griffiths this year then Aberdeen might already have wrapped up the league as Celtic have, for the most part, been extremely poor in comparison to previous seasons. He has completely carried the team according to them and continuously dug them out of losing situations. The only other positives they could offer were Tierney, the extremely rare lesser spotted commons, and mcgregor (when on his game) . Are they wrong about any of the above? Don't get me wrong, they are absolutely convinced you will beat us easily when we meet, they do support their team. However, when the green tinted specs aren't on and Rangers aren't involved, they give me honest, genuine answers and in the main they aren't happy bunnies. Personally, I can't wait for this game tbh, for me it's 50/ 50 and could easily go either way. Last year I could've seen that game far enough when the draw came out. It was always a non starter and I was just thankful Celtic didn't get out of second gear that day or we'd have got smashed. Celtic might still win on the day but it won't be anywhere near as comfortable as it was that last year.
