Would you take a punt on Ched Evans if he won his retrial?

Not heard rumours, was just chatting to a mate about it and am interested to see the general opinion.

It will never go away from him now some folk will still have different views too much baggage the club don't want to be brought into all that plus from a football side he's not played for almost 5 years don't see why anyone would want him.

That won't happen as no matter the outcome of the re trial I doubt clubs will want to take a chance on him for fear of fan reaction. It's a fact of life that even if proved innocent people will still think there was something in it.

Cheddar Evans are you mental what next rolf Harris for half time entertainment. The guy is a **** back he would be the first player in your side you would want the opposition to half. I wouldn't work next to a nonce certainly not have him in the team I love, ban him from football for life because these people abused their position.

Unfortunately mud sticks in our society. The guy may well clear his name but he's finished as a footballer at any decent level.

Has original poster any idea over how long the retrial will take? Evans needs to worry about that rather than thinking about playing again.

Fact judge ordered a retrial rather than quashing conviction outright suggests he has serious questions to answer.

I'm saddened by how desperate some fans are. Why even consider this. Thought some fans wanting a very dubious character from chelsea was bad enough. What's next the ex hearts sex offender?

Chill Luigi! Geez. I only mentioned him because there was a post about another player, Che Adams I think, and someone typed Che Evans by mistake in a reply. Got me thinking and thought I would see what people thought. Isn't that what this site is for afterall?
