RK over Wilson I don't agree. Wilson was far more consistent especially in the games that mattered. The guy was struggling at the start of the season and was forced to play through injury because we had no other cb's (Before dom ball established himself) I remember him getting subbed at 50 then missing two games and coming back much better. Has to be the most exaggerated player when it comes to negativity RK wasn't pulling out half the last ditch tackles that Wilson was not to mention Wilson's superior quality on the ball.

Never see the criticism for the likes of Haliday, Wallace or Tav when it comes to defending but I guess that's what happens when you are fan favourites.

Yeah i mean relative to our CB's and keeper in comparison to tav and haliday? or even wallace at times made defensive errors.

Wilson is hopeless imo he tries making these 30 yard passes (and fails) when he can't even make a 5 yard pass without it being tight, he's slow and really not too convincing in a tackle! Easily replaceable if you ask me! At least tav and waldo contributed with goals.

Cj1010 see if u watched all the games back wilsons one one defending is outstanding when he's one on one in the box defending 99% of the time he times it perfectly and wins possesion back his composure in these situations is second to none distribution is poor sometimes but he's there to defend.

I watched all the games mate and Danny Wilson strolls about thinking he's gerrard and he's still Liverpool quality and yer talkin pash with your 99% guys a dud.

Gerrard is a cm wilson is a cb so the pash talking is on your side mate wilson is a defender your judging him on his distrabution he just needs some experience beside him but a stand by my comment on his one on one defending he's not got pace but can read a game well.

I didn't mean he plays like him I mean he strolls about like he's the dogs balls and clearly isn't! He's played next to experienced players since he left rangers to be a pl superstar and got found out! Fair doos he done a job for hearts but again was in a diddy league! He will never be a top class defender all potential no finished article!

And the fact we have became a team who passes from back to front distribution is going to be a major factor! Believe it or not I'm not in the habit of criticising players but he just doesn't do it for me! May prove me wrong.

Listen rossiter, hill, windass, crooks possibly gilks will all be first picks along with Barton obviously, our starting 11 for our first league game in August will be majorly different from our last league game in the championship, as the gaffer said himself he built a team to win the championship last year, now he's building a team to win the premiership, I also think young hardie might get his chance this year or go out on loan one last time.

Danny Wilson is still Young and has a lot to learn, give it time and he could grow into a great central defender.
