Fellow Bears I am looking for help/ advice/ thoughts/ opinions on an person issue.

A close friend of mines a life long Rangers fan, has been diagnosed with terminal "C", told 12 month, this was about 2 months ago. He is only 33.

I have 2 season tickets at Ibrox and my dad is giving up his seat so I can take him to the New Year game against Celtic as he never been to one.

I would dearly love to try and get him to Parkhead for the Game next month as this is something that he would love and has never done before either.

Ideally a would love to be with him for, as he has mobility difficulties as its his leg/ pelvis effected, but these tickets are gold dust and getting just 1 would be hard enough.

Does anyone know what I could do to try and get him there for this match? Do you think any supporters clubs could help, or do you think Rangers or Celtic Could help if I tried to contact them directly.

Any assistance, help, thoughts, suggestions would be really appreciated here.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks BhoyWonder

I have emailed Celtic Pulic Relations and Support Liaison Officers and put it to them

explained the advice to contact them for from from a Celtic fan that loved to have good old Glasgow banter on the Rangers fans page lol

I will post any outcome with any response received. If you have any word from your end, could you post it here but ask ed to email me directly in case I miss the post.

your spot on mate, we all love our banter and our teams but times like this just shows it all goes out the window and Glasgow people will help each other no matter if they have green or blue blood.

Bartonisblue

Thanks for response

He has bone cancer effecting pelvis area. Had chemo and it doubled in size gave him 12 month prognosis he just finished 20 sessions of radio and is in hospital as it burnt the skin clean off his thigh, groin and behind. The radio was to assist with pain releif but basically there nothing else they can do now.

If u could make any contribution to help out here I would be grateful. Cheers sir.

Not making any medical claims here.
I'm very sorry m3. Bone cancer is unfortunately incurable. The original cancer must have come from somewhere else initially. No one gets bone cancer from the off. But the main problem is the fact that he has had radiation in the first place. It and chemo makes cancer worse.

The only thing I can suggest for him now is too cut out sugar and carbs in his diet straight away! Cancer feeds off of sugar and carbs turn into sugar when digested. Also he has to go straight onto a raw fruit and veg diet immediately! I suggest getting a blender to blitz it all down into a smoothie. (easier to drink) if he sticks to tht for months he will see a difference.

Also there is something called Bravo yoghurt (look it up) it can treat stage 1-3 cancer. I'm honestly not sure about bone cancer but hey its really worth a shot. It's very pricey though. Honestly mate, do some research on this an you will be amazed. I really do hope your pal gets better.
