What were Hill and Kiernan doing for that goal. Both were watching the ball but not bothering to play Boyd offside, yet neither decided to mark him either? If they weren't going for offside then they'd have been better stepping back and keeping Boyd in front of them so they could see him. Yet again Kiernan's positional sense was atrocious.

Still people defend Kiernan he is truly awful with Hill actually worse. Same predictable rubbish against the worst team in the league and with 10 men.

Thing is, not signing a defender didn't make a difference. We just can't do it up front just now.

We're missing holt no doubt about that. The midfield slow play down to a crawl. Not good enough especially as our front 3 are usually pacey.
