I honestly believe unless it's PS we will sign no one else and will just have to go with what we have.
To all the fans out there that said King promised us this amount.
FREE transfers still cost money, signing on fee wages bonuses etc.

Yes but the season ticket money paid for the free transfers - along with the money freed up from all the players that left.

I struggle to see how people can't understand that.

Look at DK quotes over the last year- then look at his actions.

Gannet, finally someone with common sense. Of course free signings cost money. I struggle to see how some people can't understand that season ticket money is a finite amount and there's more expense in running a club than signing players.

Mr Nice, what portion of the season ticket money do you allocate to running costs on match days? Security, ground staff etc etc. What about the admin staff working at Rangers? Ok so there's some advertising and TV money but it's a insignificant relative to the expenditure of a club the size of Rangers. £15m a year for all of Scottish football's Tv rights. Pathetic

There's stadium upkeep, staff at MP, IT staff, hospitality staff, doctors/ physios, youth staff, the list goes on and on. Some approximate calculations and you'll see ST money covers a fraction of this. Let's not forget there's nothing coming in from merchandise either .

DK has invested this season, I have no doubt of that. Whether it's been invested wisely or not, remains to be seen.

Mr nice since dave king and the 3 bears took control they have paid 5 million to mike ashley, they have provided loans of 11 million to be converted into shares, they have stabilised our club that we are no longer a circus act on the front page of every newspaper, have brought in 10 signings spending 620k in development fees for dodoo, rossiter windass and crooks, hodson etc and spent 1.5 million on garner . And also taking the fight to mike ashley with regards to our dodgy retail deal, what else can they possibly do some people will never be happy, we are well on the road 2 recovery after a horrendous 5 years, and I and many other bears are happy with the direction we are moving .

mr nice I know u don't like king but for what I don't know .
king is being smart we can't afford to splash the cash the now if we did we could end up in really bad shape again.

he is also trying to get us out of a ridiculous contract that only benefits one party and that's the fat mans party.

I could see us now under the leadership of Charles green and mike Ashley. everyone saying "ahh remember the good old days when there used to be a rangers team! at least we are back where we belong.

I can't see us getting anyone in today and for that reason we will finish 4th 5th at best this season maybe a lot worse.

James I agree with the 1st part of your post with regards to dk, but 2 suggest we will finish 4th or 5th is crazy. St johnstone finished 4th last year winning only 16 games, Motherwell who we have already beat twice whilst playing well below our standard finished 5th. We haven't had a great start but we will definitely improve, I think the problem so far has been the midfield we cannot play halliday barton n rossiter they are 2 similar, imo we need 1 of the 3 with windass, forrester or holt in there driving at teams and creating space.

okay f85 I take it back i'm just really disappointed that we haven't brought in another cb as bougy is a free agent and 10 times better than Wilson and r/ k so its just hard to contemplate why.
its not like they don't know we have a problem at cb and its not like they don't know bougy wants back.

I totally understand Bro cb should have been sorted by now, it's a worry anytime a team attack us we almost always concede, and for scott mcdonald to bully, and beat our cbs in the air is terrible, fingers crossed we get senderos signed up and maybe give the boy bates or crooks a try can't be any worse than kiernan.

You do also realise the club is still running at a loss every month so that makes me think season ticket money would be going towards that but I am guessing as I don't know know.
