Club legend Willie Henderson says club needed to invest a further 10m on players and Dave king has sold the club short. He thinks Saturday could be a wake-up call.

So who is first to brand this club legend negative? That's usually what happens when ever someone points out reality on here.

Or perhaps accusations of an agenda? That's usually what follows the negative rubbish.

He's not being negative and he obviously doesn't have an agenda, but he does have an opinion and that's what he's doing, giving his opinion.

It's the same as what your doing, it's the same as what every Rangers fan is entitled to do, whether your a fan who goes to every home and away game, or a fan who just comes to the odd game here and there.

Obviously we all value an opinion of a Rangers legend, but I'm sure other Rangers legends would have different opinions from Willie Henderson and that's acceptable also.

Don't want to bring up the SF again, but I seem to remember a lot of "opinions" before that game from Rangers Legends, and they couldn't have been more wrong.

Let's see what happens on Saturday first. Personally I would have liked us to bring in two quality centre backs. We have signed Senderos but ideally we would have signed a younger, quicker defender to play alongside him.

He is being negative! I think it would have been reckless of King and Co to spend another 10 million this season.
He is a club legend but it doesn't make him right. His is just an opinion, like mine, and we can disagree and there is no harm in that!

mr nice, we don't have the ten million to spend, unless you want us to go back the way .
Get Ashley out of the way and hopefully a couple of investors, then we can start to up the calibre of player W Henderson wants, and yes I will say he is not so much negative but his heads in the sand .
Second place in SPL must be our aim for CL place,
Anything better will top the lot .

It'd be easy to right off certain players from a Championship winning team.

If anyone has been given a hard time in the squad from fans, it's Danny Wilson.

Wilson is still young, and like Tavernier, Waghorn, Forrester etc. Wilson is a player who had great potential at a very young age, and should be given time to develop.

we are a work in progress not man city who can just go out and buy any player they want. most descent players won't even want to play in Scotland.

No matter how many players we signed for each position, every fan wants "one more".

One more CB etc. Struggling to think where else we could have strengthened to be honest. We strengthened every position, and people are still not chuffed with the boards outlay, gees peace.

Club Legend or not his opinion was ludicrous to say the least. the other mob only stretched to half of that sum and they have the european money. to say we should have spent £10m and in the next sentence say "we don't want to be going down that road again" is cotradiction in the extreme.

doubt that all of the rangers legends know exactly what has been going on behind the scenes at ibrox or how much its gonny take to get us back to where we are and I for one trust in king like most rangers fans do!
the guy will invest more money into the club once he has sorted out the retail side of things as that's one of our main sources of income each year.

Everyone's opinion is different doesn't mean anyone is correct
You just have to make your own mind up what you see or believe,
they have a couple of good players with mediocre players round about
we have a team full of engines apart from hill niko and Barton just now so it's hard to judge.

There defence is nothing special and we have players who will thrive on that
Our defence is abit shaky so it's going to be a great game plus Willie collom is the ref so penalty sand red cards.

It's not been the same this past week but now mr nice is back with his (I luv Ashley) narrative Infeel all warm again.

Wullie Henderson is an old man with a great history but his views are no more valid that anyone else's.

The difference between him and mr nice is that he has the club at his heart. he expresses an honest opinion on what he things needs to be done.

He's from a bygone era with little relevance to today's game.

there are lots of legends out there that don't have a clue about what a director needs to do or what it takes to run a club but they just want to see rangers being the strongest in the league again no matter the cost.
as much as people are legends they are just people at the end of the day that have as much a clue to what's going on as we do.

Journalist asks question worded differently > response is used out of context to create sensationalist headline on the week of the Old Firm game to sell papers. This has happened for many years and you guys need to stop reading s***e newspapers and taking it as gospel.
