Joey Barton, time to step up! This game will prove your either here to win trophies or for final payday. If Barton sets the tempo and controls himself, I don't think Celtic midfield can cope. He undoubtedly is the better footballer technically. If he loses his head he could be embarrassed.
Cmon Joey, set the standard required to wear the famous blue!

If he wanted a final payday he would've stayed at Burnley.

If Barton plays at the pace he has been playing he is going to get left behind in this match. As we all know you don't get time on the ball in these games and the pace is normally frantic with tackles flying in at some rate.

If he loses the head I really don't think it'll be against Brown. I remember watching an interview with him a few years ago and he said he usually loses the head when it's someone he doesn't expect to hit him hard but if he knows it's coming he can control his temper. So let's just hope Tierney or somebody like that doesn't put him in the air.

Thought he handled himself well when that Kilmarnock player assaulted him and I'm guessing he didn't know who he was.

"set the standard required to wear the famous blue! " Surely your not advocating Mr Barton is like numerous others and receiving an EBT for playing in our famous blue.? that's the standard certain of our players/ owners/, mangers set in wearing the famous blue., such as. Graeme Souness, Alex McLeish, John Grieg, Martin Bain, Barry Ferguson, Andrei Kanchelskis, Arthur Numan, '
Bert Konterman, Claudio Caniggia etc etc etc. i hope not, :)

Of course that exactly what he meant. Have you been playing the long game Ally pretending to be a Gers man for years?

Ally, the ebts were all above board, more legal than fake movies, used by another club, but you would know that anyway, with you being a rangers man.

It has yet to be finalised if our use of EBTs was tax avoidance but as things stand today our use of them is being considered as a tax avoidance scheme. However, this may change once the appeal is heard at the supreme court.
