I know I'm going to get slagged on this post but hey I'm like everyone else in having an opinion. After today we will be lucky to be in the top 6 at the end of the season. I hear people on here saying once we've geled we'll come good. Been a Rangers fan all my life but this season is hard to take, played 5 games and can effectively be 7 points behind already. MW said in his post match interview we've 8 out of a possible 15, percentage wise that's about 53%. We've played 4 of the lesser teams 2 scrapped wins and 2 draws. He only has 1 plan, if the opposition score 2 or 3 we'll score more but it just ain't happening. Personally I don't rate MW as a good manager, he has players that should be good enough but he's so content on picking his favourites even when they play badly. (Not good enough) Tell me this, how long is DK and other directors going to wait to see how long it takes to get the team playing and winning consistanly, the same goes for the supporters. Read on here today comments on Barton/ Kranjar could be gone at the end of the season, won't surprise me if that happens. MW's job could also be on the line, some of his decisions with staring 11 and subs have been unbelievable. We have players out because of injury, what's Wilsons injury, it happened during warm up for a game. How long before we see Crooks, MW said maybe a month ago he is a couple of weeks away from being ready yet still no sign of him playing. It's going to be a long hard season, don't think we'll see european football for a few years and the gap between us and Celtic will only get bigger. Time to be realistic, maybe Ally MaCoist is right in saying we're 2 to 3 years behind Celtic.

Problem with Barton and Kranjcar is that their contracts are longer than just 1 year and I doubt very much anyone will come in for them. Their displays yesterday were predictably poor especially Kranjcar who at one pin seemed determined to get himself sent off. As I've said before Warburton seems to have a problem getting defenders and in Kiernan has one of the worst I've seen in a long time. I'd actually rather have Moshni or Cribari back rather than him!

Scotsman, Rangers are 2 to 3 years behind Celtic. if Celtic stand still and if Rangers invest some serious cash in the team, Rangers may be able to compete with Aberdeen or Hearts for 2nd place but without investment next year and the year after will be the same.

King either comes clean and says money is coming and when and how much or it is a longer transition trying to introduce youth into the squad which may mean mid table for a couple of seasons. Bringing in Barton, sendros and co is not going to work but that is in hindsight. MW rolled the dice in the hope that experienced pros like Barton would work but it hasn't and now these players are sitting on 2 year contracts so Rangers can't just replace them.

Celtic have Ambrose, GMS, Allen and others who got bought by RD but Celtic have the funds to be able to write those players off or send them out on loan? So Celtic have a massive pool of players. Rangers don't, neither do Aberdeen or Hearts. What makes anyone think Hearts or Aberdeen can challenge Celtic even over the next 10 years, so why should rangers be any different?

No point in saying Rangers can just because it's Rangers. A new reality needs to set in. No shirt sales for 5 years, only gate and tv income. King won't put anything in until there is a better income stream so this is how it's going to be. Rangers may beat Celtic over the season but Celtic will win the league by 20 points until further notice.

Who says we won't have shirt sales a lot sooner than that, like next season?
