I feel that we brought in 2 many players in the window. History has told us that teams that add large numbers to their squad in one window tend to struggle and lose all sense of direction. We should have bought 5 quality hungry players and integrated them into our style of play and kept the mainstay of last year's team. Warb did brill bringing in young hungry player last year but appears to have changed his policy by adding Barton Hill ect imo he should have added the wages together of Hill Barton kranjar gilks and all they players that left and bought a young hungry centre half and midfielder and added to them to a successful team.

Yeah good post mate it would have been better to add 5 quality players which included a keeper, centre half, centre midfield and a striker. Build the spine of the team and then supplement the rest of the squad. Problem was we were going to lose about 7 or 8 players and had already paid for having a smallish squad.

Last season we had very little choice in who to play in games, including the SF against them.

This season we have too many options in the centre of the park and up front.

That centre of defence isn't a Rangers defence, so won't even mention the lack of quality options we have in that position. That goes without saying.

I have always gave Warbs the benefit of the doubt . I hope he turns out to be a great manager for us and brings success in a way we have never had before . I'm all for attacking football, but he must build from the back and every bear at ibrox last season could see we desperately needed a centre half . That should have been his number 1 priorty. We will always score goals . But we need to stop them going in. And I'm sorry to say this but he has made a major blunder in not getting a commanding centre half . Yesterday was a wake up call and I hope a man of his intelligence takes this on board . Managers become great mangers by constantly learning . I hoping Warbs is there for a long time as I believe he could be great for us but he must realise it's not about just attacking . In saying that MOH is the most direct player we have and because his ball retention is poor he's on the bench . That is not right. MOH takes risks, this is what makes him dangerous and unpredictable. And defenders hate that . Let hope we go on to better things with Warbs.

It is not just the shambolic defence where we have the problem but when you don't have a leader on the Park it certainly doesn't help. By all means reward Wallace for loyalty but he is not a Captain, not a leader of men and certainly not in the mould of past Captains of our club.

It was quantity over quality due to guys leaving, he should have pushed the boat out and got Aluko and players like that and forgot about Barton and Kranjcar, a couple less but getting as best quality that we can possibly get.
