Great to see the manky mob being humiliated last night. i couldn't care less about co efficients or where it leaves us as a country in a footballing sense, as long as they are hurting I'm happy. Gutted a never watched it now. Scotland isn't and never will be a United country anyway as the last 5 years have proven.
On a side note though is there even any point in the Champions League anymore? Celtic have been trying in vain for years to get back in, finally scrape through after trying the lock on every back door and potential loophole, get in and then that happens. They're gullible fans ranting and raving that they're a Champions League team all summer (which they are officially at least I suppose) . Let the rich teams play each other and sort something out for the rest of us to fight over because this isn't Football.
I will still howl with delight every time this happens though, 1 down 5 more humiliations to go. 😂.

£30 million seems like a decent point to me.

Recbob

Agree about this part of the champions league being pointless now. Made the point last night that for Barcelona it is a complete waste of time and must be so boring to hammer a team with such ease. They will probably get more challenging games in the first couple of rounds in the Spanish cup. Had to laugh at the radio commentators saying the young Celtic players will learn from this. What is there to learn after an absolute canning.

The Champions league deserves Celtic, remember that. Mr Vain said that. Scottish clubs should not be allowed to play in Europe, but after lasts nights comedy show, Celtic may have solved that problem for good.

all the fans going on about getting 20+ mill for getting there but they don't relise its not going into the fans pockets. shelling out 100 odd quid to see your team getting a pumping is demoralising to say the least.

yes its great to have a champs league night but no way would i want that!

would love to see the bears play like barca. lol
but we should get right behind our lads and put the positive back into ourselves for the rest of the season and forget about the darkside!

Their £30m got them Sinclair and Toure in reality, their season book money would have covered that anyway. They've been sold a rubber donkey by Liewell as usual.
Celtic fans wanted it both ways, they wanted us out the league because we had wiped the floor with them under Smith, and they got what they wished for in 5 meaningless titles, watched by a man and his dug. They also want to compete in Europe, unfortunately every decent player they had jumped ship the minute we left and they are now swimming in a sea of broon mediocrity. Toure and Sinclair weren't good enough for the EPL never mind Barca.
We as Rangers fans expect instant success but the likes of Biffo have been proved correct in their realistic assessment of the team in the summer, that we would struggle in our first year back. Once we sort ourselves out then just maybe Scotland can regain some of its credibility. Celtic are no bigger than Rosenborg, Gothenborg and the like without us challenging them, and it would be the same reversed.
I stopped watching the Champions League when Bt got the rites. Imo Sky and BT are one of the same thing owned by the same group of shareholders and are charging people double for the same product so that they can give the likes of Barcelona and Man U extra cash to widen the gap, whilst we scrap about looking for freebies. It is not Football as I know it. They're welcome to it, I'll watch the Gers! Hopefully we can put together some sort of run and the manger can pick a team we can all cheer on, because one thing has been proved over the last 5 years, WE ARE ARE THEE BEST SUPPORTED TEAM ON THE PLANET. Success can be temporary (like Celtics attendances) whereas our fans remain loyal. And that is why we will be back at the top of Scottish Football soon enough. Maybe no this year but soon enough.

Best supported team on the planet? Deary me how blinkerd are you? Form is temporary Liquidation is forever! The 2 games V BMG are what celtic will hope to win and get a Europe league tie after xmas. The Folk that thought cfc wouldn't get gubbed by Barcelona are beyond deluded. Now it's taking a year recob yet you where championing how this will be 55 under a great manager. It will be many a year for Rfc to build a squad and sort out the financial clusterf#@k that never ends. At odds with MA Puma no listing, no credit from any Banking Institution in the land. A stadium needing millions spent on constructural work and still a loss making business that will require more crisis loans. How much equity does DK think there will be left after all the millions are repaid.

Loki don't say that you will hurt their feelings as they will need to start thinking about reality. Let them live in their world a little longer where everything is going ok and nothing's changed.
