Fellow bears who want warburton replaced as our manager let's cut to the chase here, I've heard derek mciness's name mentioned quite a bit as far as I'm concerned never in a month of sundays, failure big style in england with bristol city and what has he done with aberdeen that's so amazing? Whatt other managers do you guys actually want to replace warburton as our manager, common let's see what names you come up with! For me I 100% stick by our current management team who will imo get it right! Warburton is a better manager than mcinnes hands down.

Think the problem is there's no one cause the board won't at the money! There's plenty out there if the pushed out the boat!

The reason why Celtic went out and got Rodgers was the fact that they identified that Warburton was head and shoulders above any manager in Scotland. If we want to replace him then it needs to be something better! Somehow I don't see Alex Ferguson coming out of retirement and I don't see King spending money bringing in a quality manager from the Continent.

Indeed I don't see King spending money, full stop. If that was on his schedule then we would have strengthened our defence, we would have brought in a guy that could captain the team, (since Wallace is a poor leader), we would have better players than were signed.

Warburton clearly identified that there were a number of positions that we were weak in, defensive midfield in particular where Halliday was clearly not of the quality needed but why Barton was brought in, rather than a younger player has to be solely down to money and King's attempt to placate the fans on the cheap. As we have seen in the past. Iy does not work!

Warburton will work through this and prove his worth in my opinion . Agreed things are not 100% at present, but to make massive changes across the club and entire playing staff it will take some time and patience.

He will get the youth policy right and we will reap the rewards, he has clearly started the process and has recruited coaches who will help him develop young players. Quick fixes of massive cash injections are short sighted and unsustainable, I think we all know that after everything we have been through.

We all want a winning side, and to show the eastenders we are back, however we have to realise that there is no quick fix and replacing the manager would not help anything ie. back to square one! We need to get behind the management and players, the media want us to panic and fight amongst ourselves.

They all love it! Let's show them we are all in it together and we stand as one. Together we are Rangers!

Remember Warburton appeared from no where last time round.

Look at table we are 5th

1) only 2 clubs - the "Thistles" Partick and Inverness have scored less

2) only 2 clubs have conceded more, Hamilton and Inverness

His summer signing have yet to set the "heather on fire" - (taken his time to "bolting the back door" )

He has "not produced" for a while now is it not right that he is being challenged?

How long would you give him?

Bearing in mind he would only give us 2 years - not exactly staying long term particularly as this year (1/ 2 his term) seems to be already written off by all his supporters?

Mcinnes can't beat a poor celtic team but has done a good job at aberdeen. Tommy wright (will probably get pelters for this) would be a better choice imo has st johnstone well organised defensively and won them their first scottish cup. Has top flight experience as manager too.

Warbs15,

What do you base that on about Warburton being better than McInnes? Think McInnes won the league cup and has had 2 second place finishes behind Celtic. Is that not something you would be happy with this season?

I agree w15 we have got to stick with the manager at this stage. Very disappointing start thing I find strange is our signings from the summer and it makes you wonder who is making the signings. I said on here that Niko was asked where he saw himself playing and he said in behind striker. For me that sent alarm bells ringing as warburton was saying something else. Our style last year was quick passing and lots of movement and yet we sign a guy to play as attacking midfielder who seems himself as off the striker and not a midfielder.

With Barton I though it might work because he could give us another option but the evidence so far is that having him and Niko play in midfield means a lack of good pressing and quick passing. Warburton needs to be brave now and for me play haliday, holt, probably windass and gradually bring crooks in. at the minute i'd go for having good honest pros and get back the team spirit we had last year.

Comedy Gold. Brendan Rodgers came to cfc because of MW being head and shoulders above all others? He has won the Petrofac cup and a lower tier title. Over hyped and Found out at a higher level. He's also heading for a nervous breakdown. He will need a tin hat if Aberdeen win next week!

The club is in crisis, only deluded can't see that.

But we can't be changing manager at this point- he needs time and should be judged properly at end of the season.

Anything below third and he has to go.

I hoped like most we had a really top manager when he came in but from fairly early on I have had serious doubts.

The only circumstance we should consider replacing him during season is if we are fighting relegation and there's no possibility of that.

Biffo316,do you not read my posts properly, the answer in how I think warburton is a far better manager than mcinnes is there in black and white in my post, I'll say it once more for your benefit mate, warburton was tremendous with an unfancied brentford and their fans adored him and thought the world of him whereas mcinnes was dire at bristol city fact! Warbs is building our club from grass roots all the way up to the top team which of course takes a bit of time and once he finds his best 11 and our new signings bed in I'm extremely confident we'll be terrific imo, the changes warbs has made behind the scenes I'm told are outstanding and will bear fruits for years and years to come long after he's gone as our manager, even our next manager will undoubtedly reap the rewards of the building blocks warbs is putting in place NOW!

Warbs15,

The fans may have loved him at Brentford but the only person who mattered didn't and there wasn't many other clubs queuing up to take him as their manager. Not say McInnes is a better manager however he has had success in Scotland and I'm sure if we finish 2nd this year you will be pleased.

As for the behind the scenes stuff as you put it what a lot of unproven crap your spouting. Saying stuff like that only means you can't find anything concrete to say about how well or not he is doing.

Biffo, there are many things I agree with you on but even contemplating McInnes as a future manager is not one of them. Celtic has set the standard by appointing Rodgers because they respected what Warburton had brought to the Club. If Warburton is to be replaced at any point in the future then it needs to be with a better manager than Rodgers. Warburton will prove whether he is that man over the next couple of seasons but there are certainly no managers in Scotland at other clubs that are worth even considering!
