We played better today but still lack a cutting edge. I really feel the basis of not a bad team is there, but we need a dominant captain, a bully and a man feared and respected by opponents. A Souness, but they are few and far between, so until we stop being the "unlucky" second bests, this is going to be a long, hard season.

Fodderingham must be dropped. A keeper should not be getting beat at his near post for the first goal. The freekick was a belter but yet again should not be getting beat at near post. Ball was in the air long enough to position yourself and react. Defence is rubbish but goal keeper is at fault most times for making stupid errors that are costing the team. Still behind warburton but he's got to drop the old pals act. As soon as Gordon's form dipped at Celtic he was replaced. Same should be happening here!

Alrusblue, neither of they goals were fods fault. Come on! School boy defending for the first and the boys kept his composure to finish. The second, beat at near post? Ball in air long enough. Not many keepers on the planet would have saved that. It was an absolute peach! To blame fod for they two goals is baffling.

Altus, are you smoking something strong . Hill was at fault for the first for not anticipating the flick on. Keepers are not going to save those most of the time and if do then it's called a great save. As far as the free kick is concerned, two keepers in the net wouldn't have got it.

Only the fact as it wasn't a free kick is what we can complain about. The boy hit a wonderful free kick and should be applauded for it. The referee not so. Get off the players' backs and give them some praise for a better, half decent performance today.
