I'm still backing our manager and will judge him and the team at the end of the season. He without question in my eyes has to get the full season at the very least. Having said that it'll be interesting what he does team selection wise for Saturday's game against kilmarnock. What i mean is he surely won't drop michael o'halloran who had a decent game for us tonight and was by far our best and most creative player! The guy now deserves an extended run in our team as he showed tonight what he's capable of bringing to our team. Everyone of us in the copland road stand that sit round about me thought the same regarding moh! It wouldn't overly surprise me if warbs did drop moh for saturday but he shouldn't. MOH has sat his time on the bench and now most definitely deserves his chance and tonights rangers motm performance enhances what i'm saying!

The manager hasn't a clue how to turn this round and is totally out of his depth however fair play to you supercooper for believing in him.

Think MOH plays another couple of games, we have to pay St J . more money, hence the reason lack of appearances.

Couldn't disagree more. Warburton is a busted flush, and it is only a surprise to those who believed all the unrealistic " magic " crap, which only came about because the preceding regime was utter dross.
His team hasn't turned in a single convincing performance since last season's cup semi.
His recruitment in the summer was manifestly poor, confirmed by his selection of last season's players almost continuously. He singularly failed to address the key areas, central defence and an out and out goalscorer. He paid £1.8 million for Garner, let's be honest who had ever heard of him, whilst our rivals picked up a goal machine for £450000. Other than Niko who has shown quality at an exciting level? No- one!
Warburton is inherently stubborn. 4,3,3, two subs around an hour, ponderous possession from the back going nowhere, playing favourites who are lamentably out of form, tonight he played Hodgson, presumably as a reward for Sunday but dropped Gilks, who was our best player at Hampden, favouring Foderingham whose distribution was utterly woeful, who wasted vast amounts of time in a game we were supposedly trying to win and whose command of his area is dire!
Warburton says there is little or no gap between us and Celtic; St Johnstone away from home were better than us tonight! If he truly believes that his judgement is flawed beyond belief! He says we don't need big money buys to win the SPL, that young players with potential will do who can be sold on! Does he honestly understand the status of the club which is Glasgow RANGERS and the standards we require to be maintained?
Finally what are his skills in terms of media relations and man management? Let's just say the events of recent weeks at best raise serious questions!
We are used to marks out of ten for the playing staff; I would give Warburton a 3,and a requirement to vastly improve both performance and results by Christmas or find his services are no longer required.
We had a completely wasted season under McCoist and simply cannot afford another!

We are no longer the team we were, financially or morally, we need to stop this gold spoon in mouth attitude that the world owes us anything. We are up against it and feeling the pressure, we should be enjoying the ride, celtic are lightyears ahead of us, we do not have money to compete and won't have for the foreseeable, get behind the manager and the boys, its not their fault we are running on a shoestring budget.

If you told me four years ago we would be 9 points of the top of the SPL I am sure with the uncertainty due to the cheating of the men in suits- you would of taken this, I would rather watch rangers lose on the pitch than have no club at all.

we all need to grow up and realise where we are. But on a brighter note where we are going!

supercoop that's the main problem moh had a descent game, all our players are having descent games imo no one is really playing badly but nobody is playing good. no one not one player. the players will need to go out and step up and take a game with the scruff of the neck.

GMacd, could not disagree with a word you have said. We all feel your frustration. Last night we missed a chance to move into second, performance and results need to improve.

OK GMacd, who should be the new glasgow rangers manager, taking everything into account, especially our current financial situation? The way your talking we just rip up everything warbs has started and start from scratch again. Don't think so mate, not the way, patience and perseverance mate. At least give it until the end of the season! Fickle or what!

Supercoopeer

What do u actually see Warburton building? Of the current players who do you see as being good enough to play in a team that can challenge Celtic? If you were to pick a starting 11 between the 2 teams how many Rangers players would get in it?

Biffo 316.

Answer 0, but what do you expect they have had 4 years, superior scouting, superior finance better ran club with a better world wide reputation. they may not be the best fans in the world but great pr and marketing and foreign players by into this.

regularly world class players come out and say parkhead is their fav ground to play at and they would love to play their again. when has anyone said that about rangers. us fans must stop the booing and make Ibrox scotlands hot spot stadium, try reduce the bigotry and create a party atmosphere which they seem to be known for.

as i have said we must invest in youth and see where we are in the next 4 years, our only target should be stopping ten in a row, they are fast becoming the worlds most successful club no one can stop this bar us.
