Games like today are all part of the journey; no its not good enough and no it doesn't look great but this team are not the finished product.

People keep saying this isn't a Rangers team, you are right and that is because we have had a fraction of the money invested in previous years spent on them.

You can blame the manager and rightly so for his poor repeated tactics, however he took over a team that was embarrassed by motherwell in the play offs not to long ago and he had to rebuild.

We are in the second season with this new management team and they are still working it out.

The players need to pull their socks up and play a full game of football, which is longer than 45mins last time I checked.

Blame falls at Warburtons feet but it has to be shared by the players who are inconsistent to say the least.

Second is still very much on the cards and I look forward to seeing what we do in January.

That's a fair post bob. I for one can't understand why we are good one week and poor the next. Same starting XI and same tactics. Too many today were awful. But that's not really an excuse though, is it? That team today should have had the beating of County, by putting on a show or by the ugly route. It shouldn't matter. I want to believe there is more to this team but as many have said, perhaps this level is too much for them. The manager has to take some responsibility for the recruitment as I don't feel we got a better calibre of player in to what we already had. You could argue the toss over thon halfwit and Niko but in all reality now we are left with a mediocre bunch week in week out.
The keeper needs dropped, he can't inspire confidence in his back line or the rest of the team for that matter.
Anyway on to the next game, have a feeling that's going to be a line I say a lot this season!

It's going to be a long season. Players don't appear to be up to the task. Can't finish off teams. Management can't seem to make game changing substitutions. Whose to blame? We need investment but even without it we should still have enough strength by a country mile to see off the majority of teams in the league. Unfortunately the investment can't happen until the shackles of Ashley are removed completely. Just wish we could put up more of a fight and play with a bit of pride because as it is just now it's simply not good enough.

We need to stop trying to play pretty football in games against teams like Ross County. Yesterday we allowed them to bully us! A Souness or Smith team would have had that team for breakfast!

A Souness or smith team would have cost 10 times what ours has! so comparisons between them is largely unfair.

I feel the recruitment was done pretty well except the defenders farce.
still think we should play attacking football but in a 4-4-2 let's more of our best players (midfielders) on the park.
there is way too much passing between our worst players (our defence) .
playing out from the back is the way to go but what we are doing is playing around at the back and not going anywhere fast and defence doesn't look like they can handle little bit of pressure on the ball.
I hate being negative it really goes against everything I belive in but these tactics are not working and must be changed 4-3-3 only works when u have the confidence and quality to pull it off.

p. s. for me garner was worse than a man down that whole game.

Think it's funny James Stirling how guys like you don't like us criticising the manager but it's OK to slaughter a player signed by the very same manager! Give Warburton time but garner gets 2 month? # contradicting.
