Time to rest Halliday I think. No doubting his 100% commitment to the club and that he is a true blue through and through but he gave the ball away too often on Saturday. I know Rossiter isn't fit but if Crooks is fit, perhaps he could play or push Tav forward? I also think Dodoo should start the next 2 or 3 games. Wallace looks back to his best. Team v Partick (if everybody is fit) :
Foderingham; Hodson, Wilson, Hill, Wallace; Tavernier, Holt, Windass; Dodoo, Garner, Forrester
Next 4 league games Partick (a), Hearts (a), Aberdeen (h) and Hearts (a) . What should be our minimum target points?

Tav at centre mid? Hodson is pish, Halliday has done very little wrong, Dodoo has done nothing a part from his assist on Saturday, why change the centreback partnership when we have conceded very few goals recently? why are we dropping O'hal for an attacking mid? Thank fook you aren't the manager.

Also we have a home game against hearts not two away games.

Hearts at home 4th game.

Few people been on here commenting about Dundee parking the bus on Saturday. Think it's a safe bet that none of the teams in the next 4 games will do that so I would expect Rangers to be looking at a minimum of getting 10 points.

Agree doiger re dodoo getting a run. Personally I don't think MOH has impressed, I don't think he's scored against an SPL side this season. I'd rather forrester in front of him too.

You're in a good mood onlyshowaround. Got out of bed the wrong side have we? Halliday isn't Rangers class, Tavernier right-side midfield if you look again and how can you criticise Hodson who hasn't had a chance yet? We play Hearts home and away, my mistake. Finally, Wilson is better than Kiernan. Now go and take two paracetamols and start the week again!

lmao at you guys that think our best defender this season should be played out of his position and bumped into midfield again they tried that band it didn't work remember.
tav should keep his lb spot.
halliday is rangers class but hasn't hit the heights he did in april.
forrester has to be ahead of MOH who had 1 and a half good games.
forrester does play on the wing aswell as c/ a/ m.

Wilson is better than keirnan, god i'm better than Kiernan at cb, IMO the boy is stealing a wage and is never a footballer.

id like the 12 points out of those fixtures as if we get that then we will have a gap between us and the sheep.

What is Rangers class? is it players that we can no longer afford? You have Tav as a right centre mid, do tell me the massive difference between a centre mid and a right centre mid? minus that of the 10 yard positioning difference. Hodson played well against Celtic, thanks to Tav, he was then shown to be what he is against St Johnstone, a back up player at best. we have conceded just 3 goals since the start of October WHY CHANGE THE DEFENSE?! I'm going to need more than two paracetamols after I'm done attempting to understand your logic.

Doiger think you're right about Halli day. He could have been sent off for that foul on Wighton as well. I think Crooks should be given a chance against Thistle but doubt it will happen. As far as Dodoo and Forrester starting MW was calling Forrester a good impact sub at the moment so have my doubts about either of them starting as well. As for the next 4 games (2nd Hearts game is at Ibrox by the way) our target should be 12 points minimum 10.Hearts are just as inconsistent as us and we could and should have beaten Aberdeen at Pittodrie. We're struggling away from home but Thistle were poor on Sat. so we should get a win there (surely? ) . These games are a chance to show that we can and will finish 2nd so co me on Gers let's do it, eh!

Onlyshow again youve mised it. He is saying play tav right mid 4-4-2 tav, holt, windass and forrester across the mid dodoo and garner up top.

would bring in dodoo for Miller as the only change.

Huey, well if that is what he is saying he isn't doing it very well.

Tavernier, Holt, Windass;

That to me (and probably 95% of football fans) means three in midfield.

meant to say tav should keep the rb position not lb lol.
Hodson isn't as good as tav and rightly should be the back up player to him.
rangers class won't be found until we have money to spend .
give the manager his credit he has built a team which didn't cost anything in transfer fees apart for what maybe 2 mill wich is pennys in this day in age. (not to us obviously)

people need to get real and realize not every signing will work out but that's what happens when every players we buy is one we are taking a chance on because he is free.

Watched the C. D Rangers story Friday night and saw real movement of the ball from mid fielders like McMillan, Bobby Russell, Paul Gasgoin, then went to the game Sat, and the team looked like we had 11 Butch Wilkens, square or back passing from everybody, we must be the easiest team in the league to defend against, far too slow no penetration, I had to nudge the guy next to me as he was falling asleep.

Hudson is far from pish onlyshowaround. He has been one of our better players when he has played. Also always plays well when selected at international level, which is not very often I would admit. Very versatile consistent player when called upon, good back up player for us and it does not worry me if he is selected, which I can't say about some of our defender's!

Morning bears - as delighted as I was with the 3pts, I just wanted to question how much we actually work the keeper.

Warbs philosophy is obviously based around possession which I agree with and we are still finding our feet in this league but possession has to be meaningful and I'd like to see that converted a bit more in to clean cut chances - as we've hardly worked the keeper in our last 2 games - 70% posesssion is all well and good but not if he only needs to make 1decent save.

To that end, I present to you harry forrester. the lad has a great knack of getting goals and assists and comes alive in the final third which is what we are missing just now - I'd give him a run over MoH or dodoo who I'd have as impact subs.

Look guys, i'm not rob kiernan's biggest fan also, but honour where honour is due guys! He's looked pretty solid, the last few games beside clint hill, who's without doubt been our best defender this season, even though he's 38 years old now. Big kiernan is benefiting and learning from playing beside the experienced hill!

A point on an out and out poacher we should be at least trying to bring in on loan. Jordan rhodes of middlesbrough! Seemingly they're prepared to let him go out on loan. Thoughts on him?

100% correct Cooper eleven. I've said it before name another defender in the league you would rather have? mcmanus? Taylor? maybe the only ones I would take would be Ozturk and souttar and only souttar because I think he could become a better player not necessarily because he is better the now.
