The only possible plea in mitigation for this Rangers team is it was bad luck that Kranjcar and Rossiter have had their injuries and rarely featured and despite his reputation, nobody really foresaw the Barton debacle happening so quickly! Waghorn scored for fun last season and he too has been injured lately. I remember watching the Aberdeen game at Pittodrie early in the season and we should have won that match comfortably. Yet again it was poor defending that cost us. I think Wilson, Wallace, Holt, Dodoo, Mackay, Rossiter (when he is fit) and Miller can still deliver. The jury's out on Windass and Crooks as again, injury has taken its toll on both. My team v the Sheep this weekend:
Foderingham; Hodson, Wilson, Senderos, Wallace; Tavernier, Holt, Windass; Mackay, Dodoo, Wagner, with Mackay on the right.

Doiger

Can you tell me how many saves the Aberdeen keeper had to make in that game?

Dodoo cannot deliver he is not good enough. How many times do i have to say it. Did nobody see that last night. He is slow, weak and never drops short to take the ball.
I cannot believe MW started him after scoring two late goals at Fir Hill. If that's how he picks a side we are doomed. Mid table at best I hate to say it but its true.

Why do you think Wallace is a good defender! He is the worst captain of Rangers I have seen in fifty + years supporting the team. Defensively he was ok in the Championship but he gets caught out against better teams in the top league. Hodson is no better than Tavernier and does not provide a threat going forward. Holt is not capable of playing at this level.

Unfortunately the quality of play is so dire that I am fast coming to the conclusion that in a lot of cases it is not the players but the manager that is the problem and I really am struggling to understand what David Weir's role is since our defence is woeful!
