Got to say if the rumours linking us to Teixeira or suggesting Mere illes as an option have any foundation I'll be disappointed. Coming from a family of Liverpool supporters I can't remember being impressed by either of them when I saw them play.

Blue genius, suppose if Mere illes was the only option given he's played at a high level including internationally then I'd take him when compared with our current lot particularly given he is a natural defensive mid but I say again saw him play for Liverpool quite a few times and he was average at best. Hope we are looking at somebody younger and if we are buying with decent sell- on potential. Personally thought Djoum from Hearts looked a really good player the other night. If it's a loan don't know who to suggest.

Need a centre half with pace and power and a proper winger to put the ball into the area not this cut-in and pass back dross.
