Yes, we need one or two marquee signings in January and King must spend but how about also bringing Liam Burt and Ryan Hardie into the first team picture. Young Hardie may well be the answer to our goals dearth. As for Warburton, do Rangers get rid of him now or give him until the end of the season? Trouble is, if things don't improve we will end up in mid-table. We must get into the Europa League qualifying stages next season.

In my opinion you don't give a failing manager more money we don't have! If we had spare cash I would possibly say yes, but I am all for Warburton leaving, he is not what we need at this time.

As for youth, I don't think its the answer we need players who been there seen it and done it before. You could argue that's what we did in the summer, and that would be right. However we clearly chose the wrong players, Niko for me though is unlucky. He is a classy player.

All very well bringing young hardie into fold but do you honestly think he would fit into warbs 'system' as being our main front man no disrespect to the boy but players far more experienced than him (garner miller can seem to adapt! And if my hunch is correct and there is disharmony amongst squad the young guys are better off out of it for now! Way I see it is warbs has one task and that is to get every man scrapping and fighting for 90 mins and playing as a team 'the rangers way' if he can't manage that then its time up! It doesn't take world beaters just a hard working team of players who are working together for a result.

I don't really disagree with any of the views here. Answer me this, though. During most of the Championship campaign last season we played exciting, attacking football and blew most teams away. Then, since the Scottish Cup semi-final win against Celtic the wheels have come off. We also beat SPL opposition in the cups last season and did so well (4-0 against Dundee at Ibrox was a great performance) . A very good team doesn't suddenly go bad so what on earth happened? It really is a mystery.

Looks to me that the players aren't buying into Warb's philosophy.

I am not one for trying to pick holes in our team, or the manager, I try and look at things from a non emotional perspective, but if you look at our performances for well over 12 months (even against Celtic we were extremely lucky with the chances that they missed) we have been bang average and had a glaring inability to break well structured teams down. Stubbs found us out on a few occasions last season and he isn't exactly a rocket scientist. We have been found wanting at the back time and again over this period. What I would ask is this. Did we look SO good last year because we were, or because we had watched pretty terrible football for 2 straight seasons?
Don't get me wrong, first few months we were amazing to watch, it brought a buzz back, but then Warburton's lack of flexibility has started to bite us in the rear. I don't want the guy sacked at all, but he MUST lose this arrogance, or denial, that his system is fool proof.

We have players like Garner and Ohalloran who looked different beasts against Killie because we went more direct, the full backs do hang our two CBs out to dry at times, but that is where our DM should be slotting in, but again - no discipline there.
I am full of problems and it seems little suggestions on how to correct the issue.

What I'd like to see happen for Aberdeen is this:

Foderingham

Wilson
Kiernan
Crooks

Hodson
Halliday
Forrester
Windass
Wallace

Miller
Garner

I think this set up, giving Garner a partner and more presence in the middle, yet shoring up the back, would work. It should also help nullify the threat of their wingers at the same time.

We play this 433 that should allow us to expand and play balls from wide but we just don't do it. We need change. Warbs continues with "oh aren't we second in the league" but this isn't a feather in his cap, it's not good enough.

too many new faces I think.!
if we kept the same team and added 3 players of quality we wouldn't be in the mess we are right now.

yes we would have a small squad and things would be hard over the course of the season in that sense, but we would still be playing nice football I think.

warbs philosophy is to play nice football and I agree with that but the players are playing terrible football and play like strangers .

but a lot of the responsibility as much as I think warbs is failing its the players that are doing a worse job of it on the park and should be ashamed of the way they play!

You seem to forget about st Johnstone game etc. Playing the odd cup game is different to playing in same league. I keep hearing how bad Scottish football is, and league 1 is in a par, well your team is full of league 1 and championship players, and its cr@p.
King has hung everyone out to dry with the promise of £20-£30 investment into the team.

I'd go with most of that for Saturday, what i would change is Hill in for Crooks, Crooks in for Windass (purely because he's injured for the next 10 days) and Waghorn for Miller.

Ur arguement doesn't hold tho James Stirling, we play virtually the same starting 11 from last year every game it's not like we've 6 or 7 different starters it's basically last year's team that's playing.

Why on earth would you play Kiernan? He is deadful can't believe some fans can't see this.
