I'm looking for some honesty and ask for those to remove your blue tinted glasses. I'm am a true blue who is honest. Lucky against Inverness, deserved not to win tonight, far to many below average performances from players like Kiernan, Tav, Holt, Haliday, Windass, McKay, Garner etc. These guys are obviously trying their best and have showed they won't get any better. Rangers have the 2nd highest wage bill and yes we are 2nd in the league but for how long? I am a positive person but we can expect another defeat from Celtic on Saturday.

What game were you watching? Barrie mckay EASILY our most creative player tonight and st. johnstone realised that and often doubled up on him! Mckay is by FAR our most creative player we have at rangers! Honestly mate, what game were you watching?

Would you rather be 2nd and 16 points of the top, or 5th and 6 points of the top?

Personally I would rather be top but in reality that was never going to happen this season. Unfortunately for me I see nothing to suggest that we will be any better next season unless there is a fundamental change in our playing squad and that is unlikely. We want second and with the cost of the assembled squad it should be a no brainer but a defeat on Saturday and a win for Aberdeen will put us back to third, (assuming that they win their game in hand), and another defeat by Celtic could derail the team which at the best of times has little confidence.
Investment is needed at centre back, in central midfield and in attack and we need quality. Whether we are fortunate enough to get a couple of players that help to fill the void in January and whether we can acquire some true quality for next season on pre contract agreements I don't know but if we have to depend on players like Halliday to take us forward we are wasting our time!
