A disappointing result last night but on a positive note we've only been beaten once in 13 SPL matches. Draws are costing us but we are now proving difficult to beat. Warburton needs to be more decisive about his team selection and format. Halliday should be dropped but I appreciate the problem with Rossiter injured and Kiernan is a liability. I think we can get a result on Saturday but without being negative, if we get a draw then that would be progress. New signings in January a must! How about this team for Saturday (3-5-2):
Foderingham; Hodson, Hill, Wilson; Tavernier, Holt, Windass, Wallace (or Crooks if Wallace injured), McKay; Garner, Waghorn.

Good and balanced comments Doiger. Would also like to see Dodoo involved. Really disapppinted about last night as I would have settled for 4 points from the 2 games.

Never been a fan of keirnan too inconsistent for me. i'm always waiting for him to make a mistake he can't be trusted. I just hope he can keep it together for 90 mins on sat.

352 would give us best possible chance I think, let's us keep strikers further forward and stop the way they like to play . we all know what's required . big effort! Time to stand up and be counted . Cm'on guys and especially Joe Garner, love you to shut them up!

Saturday will be a fight and will be decided first and foremost through physicality. If Halliday is picked then he should give the Lego--muncher a dull yin in the first minute. Our players need to lay down markers from the kick-off, otherwise it could be a long afternoon.

I doubt that Halliday has the ability to do even that Hugh! The guy is totally out of his depth, was clearly told a few home truths by Barton after the last thrashing from Celtic and spat his dummy out. Unfortunately Warburton absurdly sided with Halliday. Perhaps if Barton had been playing well it would have been different!
Unfortunately, due to a lack of funds we had to take risks, so far most of them have been a disaster although to be fair in the cases of Rossiter, Crooks, Krancjar and Windass their injuries have been a major issue.

Sadly where we have spent money, and by that I mean MOH and Garner neither are performing although the question has to be asked as to why this is so when both played well at their previous clubs in a different formation.

Doiger only a matter of days ago you posted how you were confident of beating celtic. Then you posted you hoped you would win, then it became u have a chance of winning.
Now you are posting if you get a draw it would be progress.
Its no wonder we come on here all the time its just so entertaining mate.
At least your decisive about your indecision lol.
