Just seen the St Johnstone goal.

Sorry that wasn't an honest mistake - it was the "wrong" attitude.

How many mistakes do we require to make before we learn?

Suggest too many - let's get back to some basic defending again!

It was a 'balls up', no more, no less. We all make them. Iv'e yet to meet any perfect people on this planet, although I have met many unrealistic fans.

Sorry cullin have to disagree, these mistakes happen every game, we are just fortunate to get away with most of them.

Yeah but it's not the first time he has made them and it's an all to commen occurrence with him.

Exactly coldo i'm just surprised we've got this far before we've gave a goal like that away. i must add i can't believe the people on here that gave Big fod part of the blame for that goal, it wasnt his fault Kiernan under-hit a pass.

The ball should not be going back to the keeper, the ball should be played up the flank or cleared up the pitch. We might want to play like Barcelona but you can't do that when the players are not even Scottish Premiership standard!

I agree TOMUSA when its tight spaces and we're geting pressed high up the pitch but that one the other night he was under no pressure whatsoever and that just came down to having absolute zero awareness.

Bang on tom that's where the problem lies, anyone can play a slack pass its the mentality of knocking back and forth to keeper that won't do! And i'm not blaming RK i'm looking for a my midfielder dropping off his marker wanting a ball to feet! The trouble is no one in our central area wants it.

Not blaming RK are u kidding? It was the easiest pass in the world to make. he was to careless and his awareness was non exsistent, he was under no pressure whatsoever.

Blame for that single moment in the game yes, but not the tactic bluedie, if the game plan is to slide balls back to goalkeeper instead of looking to play forward passes then you will eventually get caught out.

He wouldn't have got caught out tho if he hadnt bn so careless. there's no problem playing out from the back when your not under pressure which he wasnt, if he'd bn giving the ball under heavy pressure then i would have cut him some slack but he wasnt.

I'm not sticking up for Kiernan but this playing the ball back to the keeper is a nonsense and simply goes to emphasise the total lack of ability in our midfield. In days gone by, players like ferguson would have been on hand to collect the ball and carry it forward. Halliday and Holt are simply incapable of doing this. It is embarrassing that we are playing these guys week in week out when it is evident that neither has the ability!

Go long tomorrow, stop the footering at the back, bypass the midfield, use the flanks (where we've got some pace) and play with a target man and Miller as a foil. Just remembered, it's Warburton who picks the team, so it's all a dream.
