I said before the game to my sons "we better not concede from a corner again! " And low and behold the first goal was a total cluster **** from a corner. guys yes it's horrible, and yes Stephen hawking could defend better but this hysteria asking for 'heads on spikes' is a brasser!

It's not hysteria a lot of fans can see that the manager isn't up to the job and want him replaced. He keeps playing the same players who make the same mistakes, his transfer policy in the summer was atrocious and to spend £1.8m on a striker who can't score was idiotic. Also remember him saying earlier on in the season that 2nd is nowhere for Rangers now it's don't judge me on the Celtic games.

@djkorjat16 - totally agree. What can MW do about seasoned pros ( Wilson ) getting drawn to the ball and leaving his man in acre's of space?
I think the game also highlighted Tav's limitations as a defender but the option he gives in attack with the ball across for Miller's goal ( though some of his shooting looked as if he had the contract too demolish the roof! ) .
I thought we at least competed this time and created chances and if individual errors can be eradicated and the issues with the back 4 are addressed we will be in a better place.
I'm also not 100% convinced with Halliday either and would like to see Rossiter when fit given a chance.

Who do you think it is that bought Wilson and plays him? He like the other centre halves at the club have been guilty of this since Warburton has been the manager yet they still play and we keep losing the same goals. That is down to the manager to sort and he isn't doing it.

@stewie25 - as soon as the players step into the pitch it is there responsibility to carry out team orders.
What about Waghorn and Forrester's inability to see a pass and the chance to slip in team mates who were in a better position?
Do we blame Miller for not getting a draw because he hit the post?
I know it hurts because we lost again to Celtic but at least we competed and created chances.
I believe if we can cut out the individual errors, address the back 4 issues and the forwards start taking their chances then improvements in consistency in performances will come.
For being the so called worst Rangers team in history by some on here we are still easily competing for 2nd which isn't too bad for our first season back.
P. S. Aberdeen are supposed to be the best of the rest and the benchmark and they are even further behind Celtic than us!

Has anybody any idea how much influence DW has on the training and tactics. He was a solid defender who organised the defence at set pieces and could read a game sublimely. Yet we lose really poor goals on a regular basis, we left their best striker unmarked at a corner and Tav posted AWOL at the winner (remember Hearts) . We sit in the West Enclosure and Keirnan had a pop at Tav after the second was scored. What has Hodson to do to keep his place in the first team?

I do wonder whether Warburton made the Wilson decision or whether this one was down to Davie Weir. That apart our centre backs, with the exception of Hill, have the potential to develop, Hill has proved to be a worthy transfer especially when funds are limited.
It is in midfield and attack where our major problems lie. Halliday is not a premier league player, his passing, defending and ability to read the game are all suspect. Holt will give 100% but he is at best a squad player. Crooks has been injured since the day he signed so we have no idea of his ability and Rossiter appears to be constantly injured, (and was known to be injury prone when we signed him)! Defensively, with the untimely departure of Barton, there is no one else.

In attacking midfield the only player of any consequence is McKay and how long will we keep him for if top teams come sniffing around. When Forrester arrived I had high hopes but after a good start he is going backwards, MOH has not shown the form that he was on display at St Johnstone, is this another square peg in a round hole like Garner. Why acquire players if we are not going to play to their strengths when it is evident that we are incapable of coaching them to play a different style!

As far as attack is concerned we only appear to have Miller and garner since Waghorn plays as an auxiliary midfield player and Dodoo doesn't get game time.

In terms of home grown talent we hear good things about some of our youngsters but they are not given the opportunity. Derek Johnstone was only sixteen when he scored for us and given the lack of resources and poor quality players surely there are one or two of our young players that could do a better job!

Maybe you aren't aware of this but if the same players keep making the same mistakes and don't get dropped then they will continue to make the same mistakes. These defensive errors have been a common theme throughout his tenure at the club and that is one of the reasons we are so far behind. As for your comment about Aberdeen they have played a game less than us and are only 2 points behind. I would also point out that they have a vastly inferior budget to us.

Tom USA, I think halliday could do a job for us but he's spent most of his career playing wide and all of a sudden he's a defensive midfielder. We can all see he clearly isnt, he isn't a bad player just can't play the role he's being asked to perform.

@stewie25 - considering most of the defence have made a mistake at one point who can he bring in?
As for the budget debate, I don't bye into it as Celtic have proven against Man City in the CL.
