We truly need to pronto, tie barrie mckay down to a new long term contract, as he's only 18 months to run on his current contract! Heard there was representatives from both aston villa and leeds utd at the old firm game at ibrox today, watching mckay! They must have been very impressed with mckay today, as he had a superb game against celtic! If we're not careful we'll lose mckay for peanuts!

Good performance from McKay yesterday and shows what he can do when on his game. It's a 2 way thing though and unless the team improves then McKay may want a move away.

The boy played well for 45 mins with no end product, he actually was the cause for the 2nd Celtic goal.

If scott sinclair, who incidentally is a cracking player, is worth around the 6million quid mark, it makes you wonder what barrie mckay might be worth in a few years time, especially if we get him tied down to a new longterm contract!

He along with windas are our only promising players at the moment, typical of us not to have McKay tied down already- we seem to be waiting until he makes a name for himself rather than actually doing the astute thing and having him tied down first.

It's brainless activities such as this that have lead to us losing top talent in the past.
