We have nothing else that allows us to deviate away from this too much!

God help us if we do sack Warburton as the new manager would have nothing to work on, nothing.

Good post, we have no leadership at all Wallace is no captain. I'd go for gk alnwick rb hodgson, lb Wallace, cb Wilson senderos or bates. rw windlass, LW McKay, cm rossiter, cm hydman, can total cf doodo.

Sack Tav?, but he was the free scoring marauding full back worth at least 10 million who scored tons of goals in the lower reaches of the Scottish game, so surely not.

Wallace is every bit a weak link asa Tavernier. Neither of them can defend and Wallace gets drawn into the centre too easily. If he is to stay in the team, and in an ideal world he wouldn't then he should not be captain. The problem is, who other than Miller can do that job!
What a sorry state of affairs really. We can lament the injuries as much as we want but truth be told we have failed miserably to sign a leader that can captain the team. We have also failed to sign players with the right mentality for numerous positions across all aspects of the team.
While he might be someone that is good at the theory it doesn't work in practice to try and play like Barcelona with a bunch of players that would struggle in a Sunday league game!

I would definitely drop Halliday and Kiernan. I reckon now we are seeing why Barton had a go at him and for me we got rid of the wrong guy! At home and playing attacking football, Tavernier can do a job and I would be more tempted to play Hodson instead of Wallace, (controversial though that might be)!
I would be tempted to play young Bates alongside Hill. With Rossiter still out, (he will be back in two weeks), I would either play Wilson in that role or play Windass further back, since he does show more aggression. Hyndman, Toral, McKay, Miller and either Waghorn or Forrester would make up my team.

Neither Halliday or Kiernan would even make the bench because neither would make a positive impact as a sub. They would just be a liability as they are every week.

I would be interested to see which side we lose most goals from. Tav is terrible at defending but wallace? We never see him defend as always oyt of position. In well game when 10 v 11 i feared the worst has wallace was hardly in our hald and never tracked back. As i say tav is a terrible defender but wallace is just never there
