As much as I hate to saying this due to my opinions of the guy. But Chris Sutton has actually been talking a lot of sense about Dave King in Recent days. The way he has handled this whole episode has been horrible. If Warburton's agent hadn't messed up and had that meeting, would we have just limped in with a manager king had no faith in and believed didn't want to be here in order for him to save a few quid?

Everyone is banging on about needing a manager who is a rangers man and does things the rangers way but was Kings statement slagging off Warburton publicly either if these things?

We we can all dream and have opinions about who we want to take over but the way we handled warburtons exit must put off some of the better candidates.

There was a lot of press speculation that Warburton and Weir were under pressure and I can understand that considering other options of employment isn't any crime under the circumstances but Warburton always said he had a first class relationship and lines of communication with the MD Stewart Robertson and wonder why the need to involve an agent. At that level you pick up a phone, knock on the door, have a face to face conversation. Happens every day in every other line of business.

it would have cost a lot to get rid of the 3 of them, an opportunity came up to do it for free, and he took that opportunity.
