Im not convinced the portugues guy is going to be the new manager! don't think gary monk or gary rowett either - I think we might end up sticking with murty and then evaluating at end of season.

No one's convinced mate.

But that's what's so intriguing don't you think?

Really can't be underwhelmed, like most would be if we appointed the likes of Tommy Wright, Alex McLeish.

Can't get too excited, like most would be with Frank De Boer, Gary Monk.

It's the perfect middle. His appointment paired with Ross Wilson as DOF should be interesting.

Personally on a scale of 1-10 in terms of excitement and anticipation, I'm on about an 8.

He's managed in a few different countries, that would give him a decent knowledge of players who most would say are more in our price brackets, as opposed to the previous regimes knowledge of England's 2nd and 3rd tier.

Plus, instead of loan deals from Wenger and Pochettino, we'll get deals from Jose and Man Utd.

It's a win, win in all departments as far as I'm concerned.

Certainly don't think Monk will leave Leeds as they are currently in the top six in the Championship and hopefully will be involved in the playoffs.
If the board are unable to appoint a manager on a permanent basis meantime then it might be better evaluating at the end of the season.
Mcleish on an interim basis and Murty as No2 might be the short term answer.

Can't believe we're getting excited about a fella we were targeting for a second in command a season or so ago hope Iam wrong but this is a potential disaster what's wrong with a steadying hand like big eck for a season or two?

There is a reason big Eck has not had a job in years. He isn't very good, simple as that. I don't understand the fixation with him coming in, it's a step backwards in my opinion.

Fellow bears, let's get right behind pedro caixinha, as it very much looks a shoe in, that the portuguese manager is going to be our new head coach! If it is caixinha, then i welcome him into the glasgow rangers family!
