Need a manager with experience. We're too big a club for someone to start there managerial career.

He should be given a chance to develop as a coach alongside Murty with the development squad.

Too big to start out as a manager. SOUNESS!

I think he'll be a decent manager one day. Just not for us right now.

Players signed for Souness who not have necessary signed for Rangers such was his standing in the game at that time. When our new manager is revealed let's hope that the combination of Manager/ Rangers is good enough to attract a better quality of player than what we have at present.

It won't be Rangers or the new manager not being able to attract better quality of players. It will be lack of cash. We operate in a completely different world player market wise at the moment.

We should be concentrating on giving Kenny an extension to his playing contract never mind giving him a coaching/ manager role. he's still our most influential player and best striker regardless of his age

Players signed for Souness because of cash! At that time we were paying 25-40k per week!
Same as today, offer anyone enough and they will come.
We don't have that kind of money.

Swany9, you mean like Souness?

There are not a lot of managers like SOUNESS nowadays. when he first started out 90% of the team would be out the door head first.
