got so much abuse for saying this yonks ago, but i will repeat. Mckay is a passenger that right now we can not carry, he sh. ts everything that is a 50/ 50, his final ball is a non event, and do not gives us ''a young boy'' patter, he is 22, Tavernier gets constant abuse and i would have him somewhere in the eleven way before barry

He still has massive potential but is far to inconsistent. Maybe another spell on the side lines is required.

I reckon playing him through the middle would be the better option, there we would really see his true potential.

I've been at every home game this season and Barrie McKay has
been well below what we expected from him, the team as a whole has been really poor but Barrie has not kicked a ball since the Tim game at Ibrox when he tore Lustig a new aperture, IMO he does not merit being in the team and Saturday confirmed that for me, Chris Cadden has shown up better than Barry on all previous meetings this season and his strength and pace shows just how powder puff Barry is, the midfield again shown to be too lightweight and easily brushed aside, Pedro has his work cut out getting better quality players in the door but a bigger job getting rid of the pile of dross that Warburton has left us.

Due to our finances I must admit I think if a decent bid came in for McKay I would take it but what is a decent bid 3m? If the lad played down South I think people would be saying 5m SO what your thoughts Bears on a fee for Barry?

Every player is for sale at Ibrox I hope Warbs comes in for some players ideally Kiernan but I think Tavs will be on his radar AND the cheeky sod will try us with 500k bet ye but I think Tavs will go but not for anything less than 1m and hopefully add ons. Get rid of Wags and Dodoo!

I think pedro needs to restructure his game, maybe put him on the right but it comes from the player.

Aye a seven stone winger should be flying into tackles willy nilly. Even on a bad day McKay can set up chances that really should be converted. I recall three good chances on Saturday and four the last game. Teams know about the danger he can cause and double and treble up on him. Is it just me but I reckon he is the quickest and most skilful player at the club and most on here want him dropped. Be careful what you wish for

Shugie, he's not been well below what I expected of him, or those around me expected of him. We realised very early on that he was getting very close or even past his level. He's been poor simply because he can't take his game any further, he has run out of 'potential' and now what you see is the player. Nowhere near good enough.

I agree, McKay ain't up for a scrap, his final ball is crap, he bottles every 50/ 50 tackle, he just isn't consinstant enough

id play mckay through the middle too or at least on the right side so he can cross a ball
