Caixinha really has his work cut out. Defense needs sorted, lack of strength and creativity in midfield, and no goalscorer to be seen. This won't be a quick fix.

It won't be a fix at all unless we see some serious investment. At the present time we run more risk of being caught for 3rd place by St Johnstone than we have hope of catching Aberdeen for second.

The players generally are a joke! The ones that might make a difference, our goalkeeper excluded are either injured or out on loan! We might be fortunate with one or two of the youth players but in general, Warburton's signings are no where near good enough. They are Scottish Championship level at best and we need to be signing players that are better than those of the competition in the SPL.

I just hope that Pedro has a few Liga MX players lined up for next season because we are about six first team players short of what we need and that is before we start looking at the Squad!

Brexit might make it harder to unearth some rough diamonds from outside the UK.

If you think brexit will have any effect on the potential for the UK to tax a player making 1-500k a week you're uneducated. We will be able to set whatever laws the UK government decides is appropriate through the people we actually elect.

It would make a nice change for you naysayers to give Pedro some credit for having a bit of intelligence.

Do you really think he had no idea how much he would have to spend before he accepted the job?

Do your really think he did not have an understanding of our current level of player?

One side of the debate is surely thick. Pedro or the doubters

No one should be criticising the new manager; he has the biggest bunch of jokers that we have ever had in the SPL and trying to find eleven that are good enough will be far from easy. We can criticise Warburton all we want as well but at the end of the day the only semi decent money he spent was on Garner and while he appears to have wasted that I am not sure what quality of striker we could have unearthed for that sort of money looking in the UK.

My only criticisms of Warburton are that he didn't shop overseas and he didn't instil any fight in the players.

As for Brexit not helping, what rubbish! The only two things that will help are (1) Serious Investment (2) Good scouting

Obviously Pedro was told how much money he would have for transfers.

Whether the figure mentioned is remotely accurate remains to be seen.

After all last year Dave King promised that he would 'overinvest'.

According to Kings club statement where he was giving Warburton it tight after his alleged sacking, he said the manager was giving more funds for players, than the board had budgeted for at the start of the season

need to over/ overinvest just to catch Aberdeen next season.

The biggest problem is we cannot create a thing.

this could be a quick fix he could bring in 5 players and job done we don't know and i'd rather be positive about it as I've been too negative of late

Nothing to do with tax. Non UK players will need work permits after brexit. Only players who have played enough percentage of games for their national team will be given a work permit.

Brexit is going to make it more difficult to get Europeans as they will need Work Permits. Unless a player has a certain amount of caps they don't get automatic WPs. So it will, on theory, make it more difficult to get rough diamonds.

If we bring in European players next season then Brexit won't be an issue and when we look outside Europe the answer is simple, sign international stars, not second rate third division England players.

Brexit will have no effect whatsoever on player movement for at least three years, and maybe even then the restrictions will be minor. Plus Brexit means we are withdrawing from the EU, not the world.

Yeah we are withdrawing from the eu so after the 3 years players will need permits. Obviously.
