So lads, what's your thoughts on what formation Pedro will play next season? That's him went 4-1-2-1-2 a couple of times against Celtic but away to Aberdeen he went more 4-3-3. I personally don't like the diamond midfield setup as I like a good winger in a team but if that's the route Pedro is going down then so be it.

That leads me to another point regarding the recruitment in the summer. If that is the shape he's going for then Weiss, Naismith and McLean would be pointless signings. Rossiter should be fit to take that holding midfielder position and Kranjcar will be available to play the attacking midfield role so really all we are after is two central midfielders, one of which I hope is Ryan Jack. Wilson looked like a different player prior to the old firm double header, I honestly think he deserves a chance to partner a new centre half next season, Wallace/ Beerman are fine at left back, Hodson/ Tavernier should be kept to cover both full back positions if Pedro brings in this boy from Mexico. I'd go for Cummings and another centre forward to play together and also alongside Miller at times, also Dodoo is an option to play up top, Mckay would flourish central so there may be an opportunity for him to fight for that position with Kranjcar and Windass and Holt are OK cover for central midfield. So in summary, I reckon 6 signings in the summer is adequate, I'm concerned Pedro will go for quantity over quality if he's allowed to and we should have learnt lessons from MW last summer.

you can't really judge what formation he will go with going from what he has done with the current team. You can only use the players at your disposal which doesn't give him many options at the moment.

my formations for next season would be 5-2-3 in europe with 2 WBs almost making it a 3-4-3

In SPL would either go with 4-2-3-1 or 4-1-3-2 depending on who we are playing.

Pedro said at the presser he likes having a squad of 22, 23 players max.

4-4-2 or 4-3-2-1 for league

3-5-2 for europe if we get there

Why go on about Rossiter getting fit to play? Wishful thinking he'll ever play as I see it. Mystery illness by way of mystery explanation without end. Give up on the idea he'll play for Rangers.

Is it just me that doesn't think Kranjcar is the answer for the attacking mid position? I think he'll be a good squad player to have and will play well against the smaller teams in the league but I just don't think he has it in the big games. Even back in his prime in the premiership he never seemed to play well against the bigger teams.

Here's somebody who thinks Cummings, Jack, McKay, Windass and Holt are better options than Naismith and Weiss! I despair.

I wouldn't give Dodoo the time of day. his attempt at holding the ball up last Sat was embarrassing.

Im with u on that 1 Stu. no doubt he'd be a good squad player but i think for all the ability he's got he plays at a slow pace which is what we need to try and weed out our game and start playing at a higher tempo all over the park.
